I sneezed as the dust filled my nostrils. "I didn't think anyone would be at a library in the summer." He said while smirking. I frowned. I thought the libraries would be empty today, but just when I had to work there had to be someone here. I heard pitter patter of the rain, and decided to head out before the rain got worse. Of course he just had to follow me and to top it all off we had matching umbrellas.

I reached out for the sugar glazed doughnut. "Excuse me, but I think that's mine." he said. "Umm it's obviously mine I reached out for it first." I wasn't usually this immature, but it was a long rainy day and I needed my fix of my favourite doughnut to keep from having a break down. "Fine, you can have it on one condition you have to get me a cup of coffee." The audacity of him to ask me for things. I didn't even know the guy. "I don't owe you anything." I said as I grabbed the sugary glazed goodness, paid for it and left the shop. I opened my umbrella with the doughnut in a to-go bag. As I walked he came up next to me and pointed up while saying "Look we have matching umbrellas." I frowned and briskly walked the other way.

I was staring at a painting as I suddenly felt a nudge on my shoulder. "It's beautiful isn't it" he said. "I guess." I said curious as to who he was. "What do you mean I guess? It's magnificent." "I don't know I just don't really like it." He gasped while faking a shocked look. "Considering I painted this I'm greatly offended." This time it was my turn to look surprised. "I'm so sorry I didn't know." This was getting awkward and it was getting late, I should get home. "Anyways I should head out nice talking to you." I said quickly while rushing out the door. As I stood outside in the pouring rain waiting for a cab he came up next to me. "Don't worry I'm not offended by your comment earlier it's always good to get criticism once in a while. Nice umbrella by the way." I looked up and giggled. It was identical even down to the detailed illustrations on the top. We had the exact same umbrella.
