Baam here! We are back with another chapter! This time around, I wanted to make it different (but not too different) and added video game characters!

Red the protagonist from the games Pokémon Red, FireRed. Final Boss in Pokémon Gold, Silver, Crystal.

Ethan, or, by his nickname, Gold, the protagonist from the games Pokémon Gold, HeartGold.

To clear it up...because of Y/N's appearance in the anime world coming from the video game lore, the anime world and the video game counterparts were merged!

Now...without a further ado, let's get into the story!

—————-

Our heroes have been introduced to two new trainers, who Trainer Y/N fondly remembers. Red and Gold, champions of Generation I (Kanto) and Generation II (Johto). The reason why they came here, to Kalos from their home regions is still a question...

Inside the Pokecenter, Lucario had came back with his wounds and damages completely healed. After the insane battle and loss to Alain's Charizard, it put a bad taste in his mouth. Y/N was also disappointed, but given that he has not lived up to great trainer everyone knows him as, it was justified.

But Y/N didn't want to lose like that again. He made too many mistakes, and realized that if he was going to win anything with Lucario, he couldn't expect to be bailed out by a special transformation that happens once in a blue moon.

As Lucario walked over to Y/N's side, the Aura Pokémon noticed the two new trainers, introducing theirselves to the group.

Gold: "My name is Ethan, but everyone calls me Gold. I am the champion trainer of Johto."

Ash: "Woah, Johto you say? Then that means that...Lance has been dethroned?"

(*Sorry for any die hard Lance fans, but with the introduction of Gold and Red, they've been crowned champions. Not like Lance could/would win against either of the two to begin with.)

Gold: "Yup! He's such a selfish guy too, champions of both Kanto and Johto. It was about time someone dethroned him."

Red: ".. .. .. .. .. .." Red did not speak, probably true to his character like in the games whenever encountered.

Gold noticed the entire squad awkwardly at Red, and decided to introduce him too.

Gold: "This is Red, everybody just calls him Red. He's a very strong trainer, probably...one of the strongest I've ever seen."

Clemont: "W-woah...really?!"

Gold: "Seriously. After I became champion of Johto, I went to Kanto to find anything over there. Beaten all 8 gyms, defeated the Elite Four, and was going to beat the champion as well..."

Y/N: "Wait...so if you beaten Red...that would've meant that you were going to be champion of two regions as well! You are no better than Lance!"

Gold: "Hehe...yeah. Apparently, Red knew about me as I made it to some mountain and found him. Safe to say...I did not become champion of two regions." Gold admits, and that enough was to send a sense of respect to every trainer there.

Alain, Y/N, and Ash were already wary. Seeing how Red didn't talk much, gave no eye contact, and rarely showed any facial expressions. He was just so...monotone.

Ash never questioned why he saw Red and Gold during his times at both regions, given that they must've made their move when Ash went to Hoenn and so on.

Alain: "But my question is...why are you here? You called out Y/N earlier, do you two know him by any chance?"

Red shook his head as Gold began to elaborate on why he did, which already raised some suspicion on why the two wanted Y/N.
