"affirmative commander asuno" rei said
"then begin test phase one" i ordered as all the restraints were released
"activating VES-N00 arakiel" rei said as the unit came online
"mana flow nominal, GN particle flow steady, power readings rising to acceptable levels, synchronization complete" rei said as she controlled the EVA to flex it's arms and hands experimentally
"all systems report green" rei said to resounding cheers across the room
"very good we will go to phase t-" i was cut off by alarms going off
"sir angel approaching this one we can't simply ignore and leave NERV to their devices if NERV fails, the entire island will become an extension of the pacific ocean, NERV has sent us pleas for help how should we respond" kallen asked i sat for a moment in contemplation before coming to a decision

creating three power gates with her options she aims her rifle and pulls the trigger firing an energy blast as what appears to be a shell ejects from the rifle the blast then goes through each of the power gates magnifying the attack three fold per power gate
decimating not only the core but the entire angel in one shot
seeing this more cheers erupted from around the base as unit-00 lowered it's rifle
"now that is a field test, well done rei return to base" i ordered
"understood" rei said
misato, asuka and the entirety of NERV were gawking at the power of the weapon
"uh NERV has just become obsolete, i'm getting myself a place in that organization" misato said

seele were very unhappy by this outcome their plans were entirely falling apart at their seems because of this new organization that's appeared out of nowhere
