Before We Do This

Namjoon's POV
I fucking bet that storm was in fact Yoongi. How could a huge storm come out of nowhere then leave so soon? Anyways looks like I have to talk to everyone today because if we really are going to go back to that place Taehyung thinks we got our "powers" from tomorrow, we have to talk. Jimin Warned me about them talking to me about JaeBum but look. I can't just stop being his friend. I won't. He's my best friend and I won't just leave him like that plus then he'd have to hang out with Jackson and just... just no.

I mean don't get me wrong, Jackson is great I love him but MANNNN he's just really loud. Unlike Mark.. Jackson's boyfriend... Mark is quiet. I like Mark. As I was walking towards the school I felt someone run into me. I looked to my right and saw Jimin, "I wonder who bumped into me..." I said looking over as past his head. "You fucker! I hate you" He said shoving me again "oh it was you? Sorry I couldn't see you" I said with a smile and soon we were both laughing while walking to homeroom.

Before we walked in we put on the "I hate you so stay away" act. We sat down in the back of the class where the rest of the..... gang? Squad? People that hate each other? Was. Yoongi was the first to speak to me which I wasn't so happy about honestly. "Namjoon we all have to talk. Lunch, outside at the field." He said I just nodded and soon Hoseok started talking about how "homework needs to stop existing" while this was going on I noticed Taehyung and Jungkook talking to each other like how me and Jimin do... maybe we have more secret friendships here.

Soon homeroom ended and we all went to our next classes. I sat next to JaeBum as he's in my class. "Well well well If it isn't mr. Leave me here at school" He said with a smile. "Hey it's not my fault you're too chicken to 'break the rules' and stay here during a storm. That's on you sir" I said back and he shoved me. 'I wonder if he's lying and hung out with them' I heard Jaebum say but I knew i had just heard his thoughts. Sorry Jaebum.... but I just can't tell you. When the teacher walked into the class she told us to get into groups of five for a project so I chose to work with JaeBum, Mark, Sehun, and Yongguk. They are probably the only people I know in the class that aren't annoying.

After that it was lunch so I just made my way to the field. I told JaeBum I wasn't feeling well and was going home so he didn't think anything suspicious. When I got there everyone was already waiting for me. "What is so important?" I said looking at Yoongi knowing this was probably his idea. "Namjoon. You shouldn't be so close with JaeBum to put it simply. Puts all of us at risk especially since we don't know how to control these... powers...." He said getting straight to the point. I immediately felt anger rise but held it together.

"Look. I'm not going to stop being his friend. But I'll try to keep my distance. That's as good as you're gonna get." I said crossing my arms. It looked like Yoongi was going to protest but Jin stoped him. "Fine. Just please be careful." I nodded "is that all?" Hoseok was the first to answer me "actually guys I want to talk about tomorrow." He said and we all looked at him. "Are we..... I mean.... are we going back there?" He said looking a little sad to me. "I wouldn't mind if we didn't...." Taehyung was the first to speak after a while.

"I wouldn't either." Jungkook said still looking down at his hands. "I wouldn't mind keeping these things but I want to know how and why we have them at least." Jin said. Hoseok brightened and his hands lit up "AWESOME" he said excitedly. Maybe I'm not the only one who thinks these things aren't bad. "I don't really care" Jimin said. That only left Yoongi. "Seriously? You all are okay with having these.... whatever these things are? Well you all might Like them but I don't-" Hoseok cut him off "Hyung..... what's so bad about it cmon... admit it they're kinda cool right?" Yoongi looked up at him and I swear I saw a small smile.

"Whatever. I don't know how I feel yet. But I'm with Jin if we do keep these, we should at least know how and why we have them in the first place." He said looking up at the sky afterwards. "What time then?" I asked Jungkook answered after no one else did "after the last detention which is 7pm so I'd say maybe 7:30 to 8 would be a good time to get into the school unnoticed." He said and we all agreed to meet at the school at 7:30. "Okay if that's all I'm leaving" I said and soon we all walked away from the field. Jimin walked with me, Jungkook and Taehyung walked together laughing at some video they were watching and Jin, Hoseok, And Yoongi walked together. I guess if we all try hard enough, maybe we could end up good friends.

"Hyung where are you going?" Jimin asked as he saw we were heading to the parking lot. "Home Jiminie. I don't have classes for the rest of the day since I'm a nerd and already have most of my credits. Plus I told Jaebum I was sick so...." he rolled his eyes "okay mr. I I'm not smart but I really am so compliment me" he mocked my voice "aweeee is someone sad because they won't see me anymore?" I teased and he blushed then I heard 'get it together Jimin! Wait... fuck don't think. Stop it. Damn. This fucker is probably reading your-" "Shut up hyung" He said and looked down. "Cute. (Jackson's voice😂) you're cute Jimin-ah." I said.

before I walked to my car I turned to look at him again "also.... if you tell yourself not to think you'll think more." I said before running to my car and hearing a "STOP READING MY MIND YOU BITCH" from Jimin behind me. You know what, if keeping these powers gives me a reason to talk to Jimin... I'll keep them forever.
