Before he left.

{ ok so like right now espresso is like 9 and madeleine is like 9 that's all!~ }

                    ☕️{ Young espresso POV}☕️

It was a pretty normal day at the park like always and I was just waiting for my best friend madeleine! I didn't see him at first but when I turned around I got scared and jumped a bit " Oh! It's just you madeleine! " I said relieved " haha sorry I scared you espresso! Anyways what do you want to do today? " he told me "hmmm... how about we pick flowers for each other! " I told him " sure it sounds fun! But I don't know your favorite flowers " he said.

I told him that I love roses! He said that he loves daisies.

" Ok now that we know each other's favorite flowers let's go find them for each other!! " He yelled happily, then after we ran separate ways to look for each other's flowers.

       " WHY ARE ROSES SO HARD TO FIND???" I yelled to myself, I was really close to giving up but then I saw one! "AHA I found one!! But wait why is it blue? Hmmmm.... I'm pretty sure that doesn't matter!" I continued to run to the flower and picked it until I saw so much more! "That's a lot of blue roses maybe I should pick a lot for him!"  After I was done picking all the flowers, I saw that my hands were hurt because of the roses thorns.

"Eh it's ok it's for my espresso after all.."

"I think that this is enough daisies for Madeleine but what if he doesn't like them.. No! I'm pretty sure that he'll love them no matter what but now to find him, I wonder where he went?"

⏰{Time skip to like 30min later} ⏰

"Madeleine?!.... Did he leave me here?.. No! I'm sure he's here somewhere! MADELEINE PLEASE TELL ME THAT YOUR STILL HERE!" I yelled with a worried cry still with the daisies in my hands, slightly shaking, because the sun was setting leaving the sky with a dark blue changing to a shade of black.

"ESPRESSO!" Madeleine shouted I turn my head to see Madeleine with the roses in his hands slightly dead and a little sweaty knowing that our parents will get us in trouble for staying out that long.

"MADELEINE!" I ran up to him with a big hug.

"Where did you go?" I told him while hugging him "I went to go look for roses for you Espresso!" Madeleine said happily giving me the almost dead roses"Oh! Yes here, these are for you Madeleine I hope you like them!" I said continuing to give him the daisies.

"Oh Espresso I love them their beautiful!" I blushed a bit at the comment and we both decided to head home since it was getting a little late.

"Farewell "my beloved" I said jokingly to Madeleine At the time me and him did not have any of "that" type of relationship at the time since we were too young and was taught not to like the same gender.
