Lu Guang x Cheng Xioashi

Chapter 2

In Cheng's dream, things were flying, being thrown everything was loud, chaotic. People were screaming "GET UP" and what not, probably because it was a battle field in there, and people were laying down and dying... 

No. That is not why people were screaming "GET UP". The reason was because in the real world, Lu and Qiao were actually yelling at Cheng to wake up, but he wasn't and the reason he wasn't is because his brain had put their screaming into his dream and now it couldn't bother him. 

They had been yelling for almost two minutes, the old woman was downstairs having tea that Qiao had made for her. At this point Lu and Qiao were getting kind of annoyed.

"Go get a cup of water." Qiao said, but Lu didn't hear her because he had already left to do that. He came back seconds later with a cup of freezing water. Lu smiled as he walked over to Cheng, this felt like the right thing to do.

"AHHHH" Cheng yelled, "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU TWO??" Cheng yelled

"We were telling you to get up for like a while, you didn't we were literally yelling 'get up' at you." Qiao said,

"Come to think of it, I actually heard you guys, but it was just people screaming that overhead in my dream, I didn't realise it was you two..." Cheng said. "Well, my bad I suppose." Cheng took his shirt off, Qiao left the room, and Lu shut the door. 

"Does the woman know that we found her dog?" Cheng asked.

"Yeah, Qiao woke her up earlier dramatically and said we had found him." Lu said, Cheng laughed to himself as he took his pants and boxers off, facing away from Lu. Cheng was just getting dressed, Lu and Cheng dressed in the same room all the time, so why were Lu's eye's falling down to Cheng's butt today? And why was Cheng's ass so fine? Lu didn't care, he was just glad he got a peak. Cheng put his clothes on and they headed out of the room together. 

Qiao and the old woman were getting up from the island, and Cheng smiled. He punched Lu and ran down the stairs to get the door for Qiao and the old woman. 

"Thank you young man." She said. She and Qiao went out the door and Cheng stood waiting for Lu. 

"Thank you," Lu said as he approached the door that was being held open, as he walked out, Cheng smacked Lu's butt, the way a friend might. Although, Lu started bluchers and sped up a bit to catch up with Qiao so that by the time Cheng caught up, his face would be normal again. And Cheng did it because friends do it sometimes, and he wanted to touch Lu's butt. 

After Lu had left the building, Cheng followed suit and ran to catch up with him and the others. 

They walked for a while until they got to the animal shelter where her dog was being kept. They walked into the building and she sees him immediately. She goes to grab him, but is stopped by a worker,

"I'm sorry ma'am, but in order to touch the pets before buying you have to rent a space out back and choose to spend time with them." The man says

"But he's my dog!" The woman said. 

"I'm sorry, but unless you can prove that, you'll have to re-buy him." The worker said. The woman pulled up her sleeve and showed the man a tattoo of the dogs name, and then called to the dog and he came running immediately, and jumped up to the woman. She showed the man a trick she had taught her dog that she had also made up, a trick nobody had ever seen. 

She picked her dog up and stormed out. She thought he might try to stop her but he didn't he let her walk. Qiao Lu and Cheng thanked the man and then all made their way home. 

When they got home, Qiao's sister was there, with Qiao's niece and nephew. They walked in and the kids swarmed Cheng. Yelling and asking to play hide and seek, of course he obliged. Happy to play with them, who doesn't like a game of hide and seek anyway? 

"LU GUANG YOU HAVE TO PLAY TOO!" Her nephew shouted. 

The niece offered to be it since nobody liked being it and then she started counting. Cheng ran to the bedroom and hid behind the couch. Lu on the other hand was dilly dallying  and had no idea where to hide. He walked into the bedroom and saw the couch. He went and got behind and then realised Cheng was back there. He didn't want to be alone in a tight spot with Cheng at the moment so he went to move. 

"READY OR NOT HERE I COME!!!!!" She yelled. So he stayed, right there, next to Cheng in a small space. Cheng looked over at Lu and their eyes met. Cheng started blushing and Lu did too, they wanted to kiss. For sure. Lu leaned closer to Cheng's face, and Cheng started internally freaking out. His heart was racing his face felt like it had been thrown into a furnace, he wanted to run and jump into a well. Instead, he leaned in. 

When Cheng leaned in, Lu began to experience the same thing Cheng was going through. His face grew in temperature his heart raced, he wanted to do flips, drown himself in the ocean. He feared success more than anything, he was ready to be rejected, he hadn't really planned this far ahead. Instead of flipping out, he also stayed calm, and moved his hand up to hold on to the back of Cheng's neck. 

Lu put his hand on the back of Cheng's neck and could feel Cheng's hair brushing up against his fingers. They kept leaning until their lips met. The kiss was slow, it was soft, simple, calm. It was nice, no tongue, no greed, no lust (that surfaced). Cheng's lips were soft, Lu liked the way they felt against his. Lu moved his hand and put it on Cheng's cheek, he moved his thumb, and then everything hit him.

He pulled his hand away slowly and look away from Cheng. He was back to freaking out. He was staring at the back of the couch. He knew after this he would only want more. He wondered what Cheng would feel, he wondered what Cheng would want. He couldn't think about it. He turned to talk to Cheng but then he heard somebody enter the bedroom. 

Little feet, little shoes tapping on the floor as she walked around. She peaked under the bed, under the desk, in the window cil that was covered by curtains. Cheng held his breath, and Lu noticed he was holding his breath and couldn't help but think about how cute Cheng was. She made her way over to the couch. She looked behind and laughed. 

"You guys suck at hiding." She giggled and walked away. Cheng sighed and got out from behind the couch. He reached a hand down to Lu, Lu took it and Cheng pulled him up. Cheng smiled at Lu once they were both standing, but when they made eye contact again, they both looked away and blushed. They walked out of the bedroom to see Qiao giving her sister and her niece hugs. 

"Haoyu! It's time to go you can come out now!" His mother called. He ran out of somewhere behind Lu and Cheng, and ran past them, pushing through them, and running down the stairs. The three of them left and Qiao locked the door. 

"We really need to lock the door when we leave the house from now on." She said. 

"What was that about?" Cheng asked,

"She's just in town and wanted to say hi. Anyway, the big kid conversation was pretty boring, just small talk and mother talk. Believe it or not I could actually relate to my sister on some things because of you two! How was hide and seek?" She asked.

They both blushed a little and thought of the kiss. For a moment they both forgot how to talk. 

"Well, we lost." Cheng said as quick as he could. Though they both felt like they had won. And they weren't as transparent as they thought, Qiao had no idea what had happened; Lu and Cheng both thought she could see right through them.
