"She isn't going to win Emily, you need to calm down" I said to Emily as we walked into Studio. The other team were already here as usual, we had the boys with us and Tiff following shortly behind but that sister of Emily's was nowhere to be seen "I know but like" Emily started making me roll my eyes "You're sounding more and more like Riley" I said watching as her face shifted slightly "Where is Riley anyway?" Eldon asked
"Emily isn't her keeper" Tiffany said placing her hands on her hip "Em?" Eldon said in the attempt to soften Emily "I don't know" Was all she answered before leaving Daniel and Eldon to their own side track
That is one thing I never understood, why is it then whenever something is up with Riley, when she's not around, when she's just in a mood. Everyone has to ask Emily?
I get they are sisters but come on, it's not like Emily has a constant tab running on Riley. She's her own person and certainly needs to start acting like it
Phoebe and Kate walked out of the office to greet us but the moment Phoebe noticed Riley wasn't here she walked off, most likely to chase the girl Everyone treats her like a little kid Someone who can't fend for herself But she's no more delicate then the rest of us. She needs to royally grow up
"Alright. Well we are going to be continuing your work on the Auditions for Dance Captain however we need to work on a qualifier Trio as well so-" Kate started before a smirk formed on both Emily and I's faces "We already have the trio sorted" Emily confidently said
Before Kate could rebuttal, Phoebe walked in with Riley. Her eyes red and puffy making it obvious she had been crying over something but then again when isn't she "What trio?" Kate asked as Phoebe soon joined her Riley took a stance in between Eldon and Daniel, the boys protecting her almost as if they were her bloody body guards
"Oh the Trio, it was Riley's turn this year. Her and the boys have it sorted" Phoebe said making Kate furrow her brows
"Can we see it?" Michelle asked grabbing all of our attention "Why?" Emily argued "i mean if you are going to be representing us at the qualifier, we'd like to see it?" Michelle said making it sound more like a question
"Yes I agree" Kate said making me roll my eyes again "Are you guys ready?" Phoebe asked addressing the trio, they looked amongst themselves before shrugging "Yeah?" Riley said finally breaking her silence "Let's see it then" Phoebe said making them all nod as we cleared the floor
Truth be told, this could easily be a travesty. Each year Phoebe choices one person to put together the routine, this was the first time it had been Riley's year and none of us were expecting anything spectacular
"someone is getting a little too big for her boots" I said nudging Emily as the routine slowly came to an end "That was brilliant" Kate said as everyone applauded the trio, the pair of them slowly started to leave, allowing us to talk
