I went to the nearby jewelry shop that Louise, me and Chloe had been regular customers in, to buy two golden heart lockets and happily skipped all the way to my home.
As soon as I reached home I rushingly took off my sneakers and ran upstairs to my room. I put my bag away, and took the lockets and put them in my special box, the one with many memories, polaroids of me, Chloe and Louise, rings and necklaces my mom had bought for me.
I sat on my study table and took out my diary, a diary I had with me since I shifted from America.
I had written about Chloe and Louise, but after Chloe left, only Louise and my feelings for her filled the book. I ticked off the box for the heart lockets, while smiling ear to ear.
This is going to be perfect!
FLASHBACK:
Nicole pov:
I looked around the class and a pair of sparkly, big eyes caught my attention. My mind screamed cute while my heart was doing back flips and somersaults.
I knew I wasn't straight for a while now. But I didn't know I would like someone already. Embarrassed by myself, I shrugged and introduced myself.
I tsked when the teacher made me sit far away from her. Break had started, I huffed as I braced myself to talk to that cutie. I looked toward her table, she was talking to her desk mate and a few others, her smile was so pretty and contagious and she had such a cute laugh!
I was honestly jealous of her desk mate, but I put my feelings aside and decided to talk to them. The ones that were standing near the cutie's desk left, and now it was only cutie and her desk mate.
I saw her put her hand on the desk, getting ready to sleep, I panicked and rushed to their table. I noticed her desk mate was staring at me, I shrugged it off.
I saw cutie looking at her desk mate, confused, she turned to where her desk mate was looking at, me. I made eye contact with her, and felt goosebumps, I saw her blush and look down.
I chuckled in my mind amused at the fact that I made her flustered.
Cute.
I started talking to the desk mate since I figured I'll embarrass cutie more, which would honestly be a cute sight to see, but I wanted to see her smile more than I wanted to see her flustered face.
I got to know the desk mate was actually Chloe and the cutie was Louise, wow, such a cute name, just like the owner.
Louise talked a lot, and honestly I loved listening to her melodious voice. I got to know she sings too, oh how I want to hear her sing.
That could be one of the reasons why we mostly hung out at the karaoke place often.
She would always call me colie, when she used to be confident enough she even used to call me cutie which would make me a blushing mess.
Though when we saw her mom, she called me her friend, the six letters hurt me more than anything and I was determined to change it.
But we just met, I can't tell her I fell in love at first sight, oh how I wish it would be that easy, unfortunately it wasn't.
But my heart believed that I can make her fall in love with me, or at least gather courage and confess!
The year passed by rather quickly, and the Chloe that I did not even spend a year with was leaving already.
Chloe had called me up, saying we were going to hang out at Louise's, I was excited to see Louise and dressed up.
Little did I know, Chloe was going to give us the most devastating news ever, she was shifting back to America..
