Ash's Return

Chapter 2

Moons passed fastly, the autumn came, It was raining hardly. Sadly, Echo'Kit passed away from the whitecough two moons ago, he was only 4 moons old when he died.

"I'll take my brother's prefix as my Warrior name!"

Talond'Kit meowed in honor. Cinnamon'Kit nodded that and supported her friend. It was their ceremony for being apprentice. Talond, Cinnamon and Aspen got their suffix names as "Paw" and they had mentors. Crystal'Star was Cinnamon'Paw's mentor and that made her really excited, but then White'Needle yelled from the enter of camp.

"FLOOD IS COMING!!"

All the cats became nervous and scared but Crystal'Star stayed calmly and telled the cats to go to the forest immediatly.
Warriors helped to queens to carry their kits, apprenticies stayed with their mentors. All of the cats runs away from the camp to the forest but Cinnamon'Paw was stayed behind them because of her speed.

"WAIT FOR ME!!!"

She yelled, she was crying because of fear. She lost her clanmates in the forest and the flood was coming closer to her fastly. She tried to climb the tree but she already bad at climbing. But then Amber'Moon came and pushed Cinnamon'Paw up to the branch, Amber'Moon was so late to climb the tree. The flood taked her away hardly.

"MOM!!"

Cinnamon'Paw wanted to jump down for save her mother but she can't do it because of her fears. Flame'Heart nodded them and jumped into the flood. Cinnamon'Paw's parents were lost in the flood. Cinnamon'Paw was in shock and stayed like that until the flood was over. She breathes fastly to calm herself but nothing worked.

"Why..?"

Asked herself while standing on the branch. The rain were not stop, then a lightning striked a tree and a fire came out. Cinnamon'Paw heared the sound and falled down. She falled on her back leg and broke her leg. Meowed in pain while the fire spreading. Tried to stand up but she falled to ground over and over. scratched the dirt in anger, she nodded the footsteps coming closer and her fear doubled.

"Cinnamon'Paw!"

She understand who is the cat speaking, It was Crystal'Star. Grabbed her from the ground and Cinnamon'Paw telled everything.

"Can you walk?"

"Half and half.."

"No problem. C'mon."

Crystal'Star and Cinnamon'Paw started to run to the gorge, all the cats were stayed there. While they're running, a cat stopped them. Cinnamon'Paw can't understand who was that blue colored tom with green eyes, but Crystal'Star stayed front of her with an aggressive behavior.

"RİVER GET OUT OF THE WAY!!"

River? Is that the cat when Amber'Moon telled Cinnamon'Paw when she was a little kit? She though It was him and shattered her paws. She can't hear what Crystal'Star and River'Star talking because of her breathing sound, the only thing she remember that Crystal'Star telled her to run away. Then Crystal'Star and River'Star attacked each other to rip out their throaths. Cinnamon'Paw can't believe what she saw, River'Star pinned Crystal'Star to the ground and she yelled at Cinnamon'Paw one more time.

"GO! NOW!!"

Cinnamon'Paw nodded and runned away with tears to the gorge. But she stopped at a tree and hided behind it. After a few minutes, the forest fire stopped with the rain again. Cinnamon'Paw doesn't hear anything, did the fight done? She notice that some cats were coming from the river to find their leader, White'Needle telled Cinnamon'Paw to go to the river, so she did. She was waiting at the river to the others, Koi'Feather tried to calm the cats down. A few minutes later, the cats came back with Amber'Moon, Flam'Heart and Crystal'Star's dead bodies. The cats were broken down in sadness, Cinnamon'Paw can't say anything because of the shock.

"They're died because of you!"

She heard her sister's yelling, staying with her mentor and her pelt were became fluffier, shattered her claws in anger. The others agreed with her too and yelled at Cinnamon'Paw.

"No! Believe me I di-"

Cinnamon'Paw tried to explain but she can't speak because of the ashes on her fur and that made her cough. Aspen'Paw smirked in annoying.

"Looks like you don't have any excuses little Ash."

Then she laughed while the others stayed in silence and anger. Koi'Feather was looking at her back, her ears were down. Cinnamon'Paw looked with worried and shining eyes because of the tears. The cats blamed her and yelled her as "Ash" and telled her to go away and never came back to camp. Cinnamon'Paw tried to explain and she got a nice slap to her face from White'Needle. Then he grabbed her and throwed far away from the forest. Cinnamon'Paw couldn't resist to her clanmates because of the warrior code, so she don't have any choice to leave.
She walked to the city, continues coughing because of the ashes again and again. She was whining and suffering because of her broken leg. She can't see her way because of smoke inhalation, that made her a terrible headache. She goes between two buildings and falled to ground, she was almost passed out because of the inhalation. Just waited her end in suffering from pain of betrayal.

"Oh my!"

She heard a naive sound and heard footsteps coming closer. She was so tired to resist. Noticed that a hot breathing hit her face and grabbed. She was going somewhere, looking with her half closed eyes in tiredly. Cinnamon was understand it was a she-cat from her sound. Where did she taking here? A few minutes passed, both of them entered between two buildings and the molly dropped her. After that, she let her breathe and cleaned her fur.

"You okay little one?"

Cinnamon can hear her clearly right now. Blinked twice and looked at the cat. A beige tabby she-cat with blue eyes, Cinnamon's eyes opened. She was look just like Amber'Moon, but a little different. Cinnamon looked around her, some Rouge cats were looking at her şn surprized. Cinnamon became a little nervous and looked at the molly again.

"I'm fine, thanks."

The molly purred in happily and continued cleaning her. The cats were come closer and sit down, looking at Cinnamon in curious gazes. The molly finished to clean her and sit front of her.

"I'm Syra, you can stay here If you don't have anywhere to go."

"Mhm, sadly I don't have anywhere to go."

"Understood, then tell us your name."

Syra smiled gently, Cinnamon's ears goes down and looked around one time and speaked raucous.

"My name is Ash.."

She meowed, If they learn she was a clan cat maybe they can attack her. And obviously, after what happened she hates her warrior name. Syra purred in happily once again and the other cats gathered around Cinnamon and greeted her in happily. Cinnamon liked their behaviours to be honest, It looks like she'll never leave this place til' the end.
