Goodbye
I know the end is near,
As I shiver in fear.
The pills are heavy in my hand.
My throat feels dry,
But I've got to die.
I drug myself with sleeping pills,
I wrap myself in fresh, new sheeting,
It’s a beating pain, full of cheating.
But it’s better than eating,
Goodbye, World.
Goodbye.
Goodbye, I say,
As I cry.
