It wasn't supposed to happen this way. We weren't supposed to fall in-love, especially not so young. We weren't supposed to embody the behaviors of our parents, and inflict a type of pain that hasn't been named.
Our story was supposed to start after we'd healed, gained some life experiences. We were supposed to build together, fall in-love and spend a life-time with each-other. We were supposed to have a fairytale ending.
But, not everything works out the way it's intended does it? That's our story, the unintended. Two people, who fall in-love, way too young, with more baggage than any two teenagers should have. We- we were each other's first. And although we will never get the shot we deserve, as the healed, mature, and evolved humans we are, we are forever imprinted in my memory. This is the story of us.
