A few hours later we ended up watching stranger things, I usually found it scary but I felt safe laying with Matt. My leg was over his and my head was buried into his chest, every now and then i'd run my fingers through his hair - i'd feel butterflies in his stomach every time. It was coming to the end of the episode when a scary part came on that made me jump, Matt put his hand on my thigh, sending butterflies through my stomach rapidly.
And from there, that was the most comfort a person could feel. So from that moment I couldn't possibly remember anything else. I felt love.
I woke up the next morning to hundreds of notifications coming through my phone, I suddenly thought of Madi and that made me excited.
