Chapter 16: Adjustments

It's like 11:45 at night and I'm being a little gremlin and making another chapter for you guys to enjoy. Hope ya like it!

Ohma is sleeping, so this is where it will take place, Astral Projection. Where Niko appears in the stadium but someone else appears as well...

Ohma POV
I specifically restrained my consciousness from bringing this guy out, but him? The one that basically is a walking skeleton? Why did he show up? "So Ohma is it? Mind telling me who this man who looks like he could be your father is exactly?" "I'm Niko Tokita, pleasure to meet you. Who are you exactly?" "I'm Sebas-" He's the one I encountered after walking into that strange portal. "Why would you interrupt me human? It was highly rude. Anyways, I'm Sebastian Ember, the oldest of the Ember siblings." "What specific martial art do you use Mr-" "Just call me Sebastian, ok? No need for the formalities and that shit." "Then Sebastian, what specific martial art do you use?" "I don't use any form or style, I have my own arsenal of magic attacks and evasions." "Like what, are you gonna make me hover or something?" "No, but I can manipulate the very ground you stand on just by moving my eyes. Is that enough to prove that I'm strong?" "Moving the ground with your eyes? Impossible, nobody humanly possible can manage to- Woah!" This guy seriously though he could be a smartass to this tall guy? He's pretty strong just by looking at him and why did he shrink? Is he human now?! How does he do that?! "I'll admit Niko, you look like you could pack a punch yourself but you need to count your steps before you fall into your grave." "Ya can't kill someone who's already dead!" "Oh, on the contrary dear Niko, I can rip your life right out of the timeline, like you didn't even exist in the first place! Think about it Niko, you don't stand a chance against T H E  R I F T E R!" The Rifter? Is that another name he goes by or just an alias? "Woo! I'll admit, you almost had me there but you shouldn't focus just on me ya know. Ohma is right behind you." "Wha-!" I threw him back and he hit the wall hard.

Sebastian POV
Very well, if you want to play like that. Then I'll show you what I can do! Since these guys don't use magic, then I'll use my physical attacks rather than magical ones. They both rushed at me with incredible speed. I hid in their shadows to take the by surprise, using their own energy against them, my nephews would enjoy this. "How is he doing this? He isn't normal at all!" Heh, you're right on that one, I am no normal being... I spread my wings an hovered above the ground, staring down at them. I am anything but normal, MORTALS! You can damage my physical body as much as you want, but you'll never get rid of me! Niko came at me, attempting to end this farce but I dodged and let his forward momentum hit the wall to which he countered by walking up that wall and pushing off to gain speed. I really wanted to stop so I just snapped and woke Ohma up. It was fun to analyze their fighting style and different techniques, but I was getting tired of the same moves that I had already seen. They never stood a chance in the first place, but they don't have magic either, so I'm very impressed that a human could reach a point like this in their lives. It's honestly incredible! Now, from my analysis of the different fighters, I assume that some of our folks, will get along with these fighters, I could be wrong but it's an honest guess. Here's my list:

This is only some, but I'll spare the details to let you guys find out later. Anyways, back to the story.
I honestly wasn't surprised that Smolderous did that. He always poofs when he does something that makes him look absolutely ridiculous, he absolutely dreads it afterward. He'll be back in about half an hour though, he always does. I'm astonished of the variety of fighters within this place, to see all of the different cultures and martial arts in one room is amazing. Though, I'm not bound by any particular form or style, I just use whatever I have at my disposal to my advantage. Anyways, I'm gonna head back to my room, I've had enough human interaction for a couple hours. I'm a bit of an introvert, so I require a break from being social from time to time to recollect my thoughts before I make a grave error in judgement ending in having to manipulate the timeline that would cause a catastrophic event that would lead to the destruction of the fabric of reality within this particular universe. Yeesh, that one rolled right off in one breath. I approach my door and fell forward into the endless space and catch myself before I actually hit the floor of this room. See, I made this space layered as to not terrorize the others with an endless void. I basically can free float wherever, but I made boundaries for how big this space actually is. But enough with that chatter, there's a strange demonic presence that seems to be creating a portal here in this void. I expanded the void radius and prepared for battle, 3 figures came out and fell. I caught them from falling and rose them up to my level. Who are you guys, and why are there so many damn fandoms in this universe! Slow down, think before this turns into something catastrophic. Who are you guys? "First off, who are you ya bag o' bones?" Woah, put on the hate brakes, I'm just askin ya a question dude! I'm Sebastian, now can you please tell me your names? "How do I know you're not a demon trying to kill me?" I'm draconic not demonic, and besides I ain't gonna hurt you unless you give me no choice. Now please, I want names. "I'm Dante, this is Vergil and this is Nero." Ok, thank you, was that so hard now Dante? But I get the trust issues, just don't try to impale me next time, you'll regret it. You guys are small to me, why is that? "Maybe because you huge!" What Nero, are you guys like a bit over 6 foot or somethin? Uh yeah, how else would you look this big to us?!" Oh, my bad I forgot to shrink. Is this better? "Yes, thanks." Anyway back to the introductions, where are you guys from? "Devil May Cry is the name." Thanks Dante, hey Vergil, why aren't you conversing? "Don't take it personal, he hardly ever speaks, being my father and all!" Nope. I fall and just go away from the family drama, cause I hate it. "Hey! Where'd you go Sebastian? I'm right here Dante, I hate family drama so try to keep it to a minimum please. "We're making no such promises Sebastian. Dante is unpredictable." So you do speak Vergil, nice to know, and formalities too, I think I kinda like you. Back to the matter at hand, you guys are from DMC, a universe full of demons. Doesn't sound out of the current genre still, at least that's good. So, I want to test something, how powerful are you guys? I know you're powerful Vergil just by looking at you, but I don't know about you 2. So I guess we'll find out shall we? "Alright! Time to bring out the big guns!" "I'm baggin this bitch Dante, he's mine." Oh, so we're starting with Nero, interesting. Give me all you got! He rushed at me trying to get me off guard. I dodged, grabbed him and threw him into a cloud, which cushioned his impact. I'd rather not hurt him right now unless I knew he could take it. "What, is that all you got? Even lower rank demons put you to shame!" Oh, you messed up buddy, I only did that because I don't think you could take such an impact going from 100 to 0 in milliseconds, that's enough to kill a grown man! But if you insist, I won't hold B4CK! He rushed at me again using a wire of some sort to pull himself to me, it kinda hurt but it healed easily. I guess you didn't learn your lesson the first time, so I guess I'll throw you again! I sent him crashing into a concrete wall I created, which sent him tumbling. You're resilient I'll give you that, but you won't be standing for much longer. He swung at me and I easily dodged, impaling him with a spike from the void, that sent him falling. He's loosing blood fast, I'd better patch him up. I rose him up and healed his wound so he wouldn't be lost to us. Ok, your turn now Dante. "Alright, let's do this!" He lunged at me so fast, I was barely able to dodge that. You're pretty good Dante, straight to the point. I outstretch my wings and dart straight toward him on moments notice. A flurry of slices consume him and he breaks out using a form I'm unfamiliar with. From my analysis it's called a Devil Trigger, he has 2. The other one being his Sin Devil Trigger. Interesting, looks like, I'll have to break out the big guns. My eyes black out and I disappear merging with the void to maximize my chances. "Come out you coward and face me!" You want me to face you? Ok, then I'll face you. I show up in front of him and slam him against the wall so hard it cracked the void wall. Yeesh, I need to watch my strength cause I almost broke the barrier. "Damn, you've got hella strength, but it won't last for long!" His Sin Devil Trigger was activated, he darted at me and I fell from my cloud to avoid his attack. I guess I should just switch to my human form, much less drama. Skin forms over my bones, my hair begins to form and my singularity forms above my head. It's time to dance! I dart toward him, incapacitating him instantly. With a flurry of slices, he is brought down, but not for long. He impales me at the last possible second. Heh, I guess you don't know do you? When I'm impaled my body loses its corporeal form and you cannot even touch me! Prepare to loose M0rt4l! I pull his sword out from my chest and throw it like a javelin towards him to which he catches it and tries to impale me again, I dodge and impale him from behind. D1d y0u th1nk y0u c0uld d3f3at m3? Y0u'r3 wr0ng 1 am th3 Supr3m3 b31ng! 1 am th3 R1ft3r! "I'm not done yet asshole, you've only seen the surface. So don't start getting cocky until you know I'm down Bitch!" Heh, I already know I've won. Look at your chest. "What the?!" He fell from my spikes, landing on the floor of the void. 2 down, 1 to go. You're up Vergil! "Don't expect me to be as easily matched, you have no idea what I'm capable of. I call upon the true power of theYamato to decimate my enemy. Prepare to perish beneath my feet foolish mortal." *maniacal laughter* Y0u F00l! D0 Y0u H0n35tly th1nk a sw0rd w1ll sav3 y0u? Y0u hav3 n0 1d3a what y0u'r3 up aga1n5t! 1 am th3 0ld35t 0f th3 3Mb3r Fam1ly! And n0 m3r3 0b5t1cl3 w1ll g3t 1n my way!
