Harry felt as though he had frozen.

Teddy felt like he was trying to snap a frozen statue back into reality.

It was only when Teddy snapped his fingers in Harry's face that he had drafted back into the conversation.

"What?" He asked, Teddy scratched his head.

"Er... they're-"

"Oh- yeah." Harry mumbled incoherently.

He thought back to all the times he pictured Voldemort firing a spell at him, seeing a bolt of green and then pure black.

Lily extended her arm, clearing her throat.

"Nice to meet you." She said cautiously. "Though, I've obviously already met you."

"Hi... sorry I'm really surprised that you... um..." He shook her hand. She rested her arm back against her side awkwardly.

James interrupted as he trailed off.

"Traveled through time?" He asked.

Harry paused.

"Exist." He said, looking away.

"That's alaays nice to hear." Al smiled sarcastically.

Teddy sighed.
Harry cleared his throat.

"Sorry. I'm being really rude right now aren't I?"

He looked to Hermione who gave him an unsure look alongside a shrug.
Her eyebrows were cocked and her jaw was agap.

"Oh no problem. it's just diffrent then how you usually act." Lily shrugged, smiling.

James began laughing.

"Right! He's usually all cheesy dad-jokes and all here's some cookies I just baked!" James said making airquotes.

"No offense!" Al said quickly, catching Harry's eye.

"It's nice." Lily added.

"Oh yeah! You're the good kind of embarrassing!"

Teddy threw his head into his hands.

"Guys!" He said loudly.

There was a lingering silence until Hermione began howling with laughter that she seemed unable to contain any longer.

"Sugar cookies!?" She muffled through the hand clamped over her mouth.

Ron looked at her with a confused look.

Harry nodded, looking back at her.

"Yeah? What's wrong with sugar cookies?"

Hermiones laughter engorged.

"It's just... you've slain dragons! And you make sugar cookies on the regular? It's just kind of funny!"

She let her laughter calm itself.

"Oh!" She exclaimed once she stopped.

"What?" Harry asked quickly.

Hermione began hitting his arm excitedly.

"What? What? What?" He asked, flinching his arm away.

"Oh that's her curiosity hitting." Rose piped up.

Hermione nodded rapidly.

"Who on earth helps you make those sugar cookies?" She squealed.

"What do you mean?" Harry asked.

"I think what she means is," Al began, standing up slowly.
"Who else factored into making this beautiful face." He said, sliding his hand across his chin.

"Thanks Al." Lily smirked.

"I meant me!" He yelped.

Lily grinned.

"Tell us!" Hermione insisted, she sounded as though she were about to laugh again.

"Who wants to do the honours this time?" Lily asked. "I did it last time, it's only fair." She swiveled her arms across dramatically.

James put his hand to his chest.

"Well, I suppose I did bring us here." He said with a smile, he leant against the wall.

"Don't be so dramatic James just get on with it!" Al scoffed.

Harry's ears perked up.

"James?" He asked quickly.

Al nodded.

"Yeah, I'm guessing we don't need to explain that one." He said softly.

Hermione gave Harry a soft smile, something Rose had come to know as her showing respect for an action or person.

"Alright, don't freak out."

That made Harry nervous to say the least.

"I won't." He insisted.

"I'm not talking to you!" He looked at Ron.

"It's Ginny Weasley!" James revealed, with a clap of his hands.

"Wow weird calling her that." He chuckled.

Harry's jaw fell agap
