The sky was cover in black -tar, as the gray clouds began to gather closer to one another.  Droplets fell from these large pillow that were  blocking the beauty of the sunlight. The sunlight that was suppose to shine throughout the realm of deities and Immortality. The celestial realm.

"Ingrid!?"  A voice echoed

A human-like monkey with black-raven like silk fur ran to the gates of the garden. His hands gripped onto the bars and swung them doors open, running into the colorful field  of flowers, then stopped.  The monkey's shoulder rose up and down slowly, releasing  a pent-up breath and water droplets falling from the structure of his face to his chin. Desperately he called out the name once more "INGRID! WHERE ARE YOU! ANSWER ME!?

His eyes scanned the area. Left to right and up to down they searched. Taking a few steps forward the Monkes eyes widen in disbelief.  Hs stomach clenched and fear tighten his throat. Falling to his knees he reached to grab the figure that  laid , yet hidden underneath the pool of flowers.

The sky itself cries and roars for the one who lays on the red blossoms

Laying in her bed, Lucinda let out a small gasp as she clenched onto her blanket , and opened her eyes.
Her chest rise up and fall back down wondering what was that strange dream she just had . The sun was beamimg through her open woodframe window lighting up her room. Placing her arm over her eyes with a small groan when the beam of sunlight hit her face, Lucinda heard the sound of birds chirping from a near by tree. She then sat up , and slide her legs off the bed to put her slippers on. Once she had stand up , she did her usual morning routine by stretching for a few seconds then tidying up her bed.

Lucinda walked over to her drawer and pulled out a long white skirt and a pink long sleeved shirt. She changed into her clothing then brushed her hair infront of the mirror tieing it back with a pink ribbon.

"Lucinda ! Are you up!?" A voice called out to her front down stairs.

"Coming!" She replied kindly fixing her ribbon then walked out the room shutting the door behind her.

Reaching over the counter a young lady grabbed a brown paper bag from the elderly and gave him a small bow. "Thank you once again Wulong" she smiled "Good morning Lucinda "
she added turning to the young brown headed who just came from walking down the stairs "Oh- good morning Ms Ming" she gave a small wave. The young lady gave the two a small nod while walking out the door that stays wide open during open hours.

Wulong, the owner of the small teashop located in the city of Megapolis, smiled as he watched the young lady leave his shop. He then turned to attention to  his daughter  "Goodmorning my dear...how did you sleep?" He asked
"Morning daddy" Lucinda placed her hands together and  walked to her father. "I ...didnt get much sleep...had another one of those dreams" she let out a small chuckled. " Chamomile tea..." her father walked over to the counter behind the cashier , picking up a jar with tea leaves and gave it to his daughter "it helps calm the mind and helps one sleep" he gave her a small kiss on the cheek. Lucinda took the jar in hand as she smiled then noticed another customer walk in. Her father noticed the client and walked back to the counter. Just as Lucinda was about to take the jar upstairs , wulong called her once more for a favor "oh Lucinda, would you be able to go down the street and buy some groceries? I'm afraid we're running low."
Lucinda watched him place tea leaves in small bags then into a bigger bag and the client paying. "Sure thing!" She smiled rushing upstairs to get her bag and some money.

The sound of alarms and horns filled the streets. Mother's walking their kids to school, with prayers for safe return. Fathers on their way to work and as the sun shine through the glorious city. Signs with "we're closed" flip over to "welcome, we're open".

Lucinda noticed a few familiar faces from other shop owners. They smiled and waved at her with a good morning and a stay safe. Just as she was about to cross the streets Lucinda jumped back with a startled seeing the most strangest thing. A boy flying through the air with a staff.  The staff slammed against the concrete ground not far  from where Lucinda stood. A man behind her threw his arm in the air with a growl "HEY KID WATCH WHERE YOUR GOING!!?!?"

"AH SORRY!!" The young boy Apologized.  He had brown hair tied back with a red head band and wore a yellow jacket with a white t-shirt underneath and red pants. Lucinda watch the boy dissappear when he took a left turn "What in the world...?" She mutter to herself , snapping back to reality she saw the streets were cleared and took the opportunity to cross .

Walking  down the side walk Lucinda then stop to see a group of people surrounding a window display. With curiosity she slowly approached the group to see what the fuss was about. TVs line up in the display playing the news. "We're unaware where this beast came from, but until further notice please remain home"
The news reporter said. Narrowing her eyes to the screen Lucinda eyes locked onto the picture of a shadow monster on the right corner of the television   "Oh great" letting out a sigh she clenched her bag and began to run to the store leaving the crowd.
Once Lucinda rushed onto the store, she digged through her bag to find a list  of things she needed to buy and so her work began.

About an half hour later Lucinda walked out the store with 3 plastic bags around her arms. "Thank you come again!" The cashier yelled while scanning another buyer groceries.

Lucinda reached her arm out to feel droplets of rain splatter against the palms of her hands. She quicken her pace wanting to get home before the rain begins to pour heavily.  The streets were empty and windows to building began to close and many others ran inside for shelter. Just as she was about to cross over once more, she heard a thump coming from an alley way behind her.
Lucinda paused , about to her take first step forward. Then with hesitation she quickly approach the dark alley. Only her footsteps could be heard along with the splattering of the rain droplets that fell from the sky and had now kissed the concrete ground.

"Huff" Sound as if someone was breathing heavily...or something

"Ek!" Lucinda jumped, feeling the presence that she was not alone. Facing the GreenDumpster she noticed a puddle of red began to flow down the steep alley way towards her . Her heartbeat began to rapidly rise 'come on Lucinda get it together! Man up! Or is it women up- Whatever!' She thought to herself . Continuing to move forward Lucinda made her way around the dumpster then was caught by surprised. A figure laid in a pool of blood holding the left side of its stomach. "Oh my goodness!" Lucinda dropped her bags , and got on her knees in panicked mode. Just as she was about to reach for him she noticed the figure was covered in fur...fur that was a dark-raven silk color... "he...he isn't human..." Lucinda stared at the Human-monke and for a moment the world stood still.  Until jumped "AH!" She let out a scream. Seeing the hand of the figure that supposedly was to to used to put pressure on his wound  was now gripped around hers. Their eyes meet one another...
