√v^√v^√♥"An order for...batman?" Jungeun called out, awkwardly. She cringed at the way her voice cracked in the middle of the sentence.
The other patrons sitting near her eyed her strangely and even her coworker Heejin attempted and failed to stifle her laugh.
Her eyes darted around the café for the tall blonde who she was positive this drink belonged to.
Sure enough, there she was striding coolly towards her. Jungeun couldn't help but admire the way her beach blonde hair fell effortlessly over her shoulders, perfectly highlighting her defined collarbones, or the way her lips looked as soft as clouds, or how pretty her porcelain skin looked.
Jungeun had noticed her come in a few weeks ago and had been extremely distracted for the remainder of her shift, successfully receiving a scolding from her manager. She had secretly prayed that the mystery girl would come in again and luckily, she came back the same time the next week. Jungeun had tried to overhear the conversation when the girl ordered the next time she came in but instead of hearing a name, the beautiful blonde had given the barista SpongeBob as the name for the order which had been a sickeningly decadent white chocolate mocha with extra whipped cream. Jungeun had also been the one required to call out the name which was very much humiliating, but she supposed it was worth it to see the pretty customer up close. The names for the following weeks had ranged from Bob the builder to Elmo. She couldn't help but find the girl's ridiculous actions endearing and her cute little grin whenever Jungeun had to call out the name was totally worth the embarrassment.
She only snapped out of her daydream when the blonde she had been previously admiring was standing right in front of her. She had on a oversized blue button up shirt, some kaki colored slacks, a black baseball cap, and an expensive looking watch clasped around her wrist.
Jungeun gulped and averted her gaze when she realized she had been standing there holding the drink for a while.
"That would be me," the girl—who's name was most certainly not Batman—said in a low, husky, and incredibly attractive manner.
Jungeun cleared her throat and pushed the coffee towards her. The other girl shot her a wink and a swoon worthy smile that would have made Jungeun pass out under different circumstances, but she was at work and she didn't want them to call an ambulance.
"Thanks, cutie," the blonde said, smoothly and walked away. Jungeun was too stunned to speak.
She could feel the blush creeping up her neck and onto her face. She tried adamantly to smother the giddy grin that threatened to spread across her face, but she couldn't stop it and ended up burying her face in her hands instead.

The next time she came into the coffee shop, the name printed on the label for the familiar white chocolate mocha read 'Bruni from frozen 2 because my friend said I look like him'.
Jungeun chuckled and stuck the cup under the espresso machine. Out of the side of her eye, she saw 'Bruni' sitting in one of the easy chairs near the big window and reading a book. She had her knees curled up to her chest and was resting her head on them. Jungeun turned her attention back to the coffee which the machine had just finished pouring and grabbed the cannister of whipped cream.
"A white chocolate mocha with extra whipped cream for, um, Bruni from Frozen 2?" she called out, not even caring about the stares she received. When a familiar blonde sauntered over, a small smile found its way onto Jungeun's lips. "I totally knew it'd be you."
The blonde gave her a lazy grin that never failed to make Jungeun's stomach flip. "Is that so?" Jungeun nodded quickly.
"Yup. Plus, you do kinda look like him now that I think about it," she said, making a show of observing the girl's face.
Jungeun was about to say something else, when her train of thought was rudely interrupted by her other friend and colleague Jiwoo.
"STOP FLIRTING WITH THE CUSTOMERS AND GET BACK TO WORK!!"
Jungeun flushed in embarrassment and turned back to the girl now known as Bruni, who had annoyingly attractive smirk tugging at her lips.
"I won't keep you any longer," she chuckled, grabbing her drink off the counter. "It was nice talking to you."
"You too..." Jungeun called out towards her retreating figure after she had taken a whole thirty seconds to answer.

When it was close to closing time, Jungeun glanced over to where the blonde girl had been sitting earlier and saw that she had already left. Jungeun hadn't noticed her leave, meaning she must have gone when she was busy with an order. She noticed the book she had been reading was abandoned on the coffee table next the the chair. The café was relatively empty and there were no new customers in the waiting area, so she took the chance to go retrieve the book. When she came closer, she realized the book the girl had been reading was a romance novel. Jungeun hadn't pegged her as a romance novel type of person. She didn't recognize it, but it had a rather generic title and cover. When she reached down to grab it, she saw that there was a slip of paper sticking out of it. She glanced at it and noticed there was writing scribbled on it.
Dear cute barista,
I enjoyed our conversation today and wondered if you might want to go out sometime? If that's not too weird of me to ask.
Here's my number if you'd like to call or text me. My friends say I'm quite the catch ;)
xxx-xxx-xxxx
My real name is Jinsol btw :D
Jungeun grinned at the note and pulled out her phone to make a new contact. She shot off a quick message before stuffing the note into her pocket. Her heart felt like it might explode from excitement and for once, she welcomed the feeling. There was something about Jinsol that intrigued her in way that didn't happen with other people she had met in the past.
Hi Jinsol, it's Jungeun the barista. Thanks for reaching out to me and I would love to go out with you sometime :)
