NORMAN AND I SAT ON A BENCH IN A PARK AFTER WE ATE DINNER. It was silent (comfortable silence) for a few minutes until he spoke up.
"Do you remember when you first texted me?" He asked, I stared at him and saw him softly looking at the swings, with a smile.
I smiled, and also glanced at the swings. "Yeah" I responded, smiling even though I was confused why he questioned me that. "I thought Yuki was pranking me because she didn't want to practice" I laughed, and he laughed with me shortly after.
"And I was so scared and confused!" He laughed harder, recalling the memories of when we first texted.
I laughed with him, recalling the memories when I slightly panicked and realized I texted the wrong number. I noticed an elderly couple smiling at us and stopped laughing. I elbowed the laughing male beside me to which he grunted and I motioned to the elderly couple.
The couple smiled widely at us and we did the same, I waved at them and so did Norman. The couple then turned their backs from us and walked away, the older woman leaned her head to her husband's shoulder whilst the older man leaned his head to his wife's head.
I smiled, remembering my parents. "You know" I started by saying, I saw from my peripheral vision that he turned to look at me. "My parents used to tell me to be patient when it comes to love and relationships, but I don't think I can be patient anymore" I turned to look at him.
He gave me a sweet smile that gave me butterflies. I soften my eyes and smiled back.
"I love you (Name). I love you a lot and I want to court you"
