"Lee!" Lee turned around and saw Jeong running toward her.
Lee quickly got her books and slammed her locker, running away. She felt her wrist get pulled and forced to face him.
"Let go of my wrist! NOW!!" Lee was practically shooting daggers at Jeong.
"No! Look, I'm sorry to hear you are suffering from leukemia."
"Okay? Thanks." Lee turned around sending a gust of air towards Jeong but he still wouldn't let go of her wrist.
"What now!?" Lee said, annoyed and angry.
"Can you be my best friend again?"
Lee turned around, shocked to hear that.
"Jeez, I don't-"
"PLEASE??!!" Jeong shouted at her, making her flinch. Lee just stared at Jeong's green eyes. Finally he let go. Lee, scared of what would happen next, ran away from Jeong leaving Jeong alone, his bangs covering his eyes. The first time his school will hear him cry.
Meanwhile with Lee, she kept running. Running away from school. Running away from the monster who grabbed her wrist tightly and shouted at her. The monster named Jeong. The one she used to be best friends with.....
Lee still ran. She ran through the busy streets of Ulsan and kept bumping into people. She didn't even look back and say sorry. She finally reached home and went inside, slamming and locking the door. She collapsed on the floor and cried. Cried till she couldn't no more. She heard foot steps come from the hallway and looked up to see Minzy coming toward her.
"Lee? Is that you?"
Lee didn't answer.
