I entered the cafe with raizel and immediately i saw mam sunny sitting on her usual seat while drinking her coffee
Wala pang costumer ngayon dahil maaga pa
"Good morning mam" i said and sat raizel across mam sunny
"That's the child?" She asked kaya kumapit ng mahigpit si raizel sa kamay ko
Napansin naman iyon ni mam sunny kaya binaba nya ang tasa nya
"Don't worry, hindi ako kumakain ng bata" sabi ni mam sunny
Mam sunny may look intimidating and maldita at first pero trust me, she's really not. Pinanganak lang talaga syang ma attitude
"You're scary" napatingin ako kay raizel ng bumulong ito
Napataas naman ang kilay ni mam sunny kay raizel
"Scary? Sa ganda kong to?" She asked kaya napa nguso si raizel
"Kung hindi kalang cute sinipa na kita palabas ng cafe ko" bulong ni mam sunny kaya mahina akong natawa
"Instead not scary shortcake, I'm just confident. And if you don't want people pushing you and bossing you around, always be confident" mam sunny advised raizel kaya nag ning ning ang mata neto
"What's confident?" Raizel asked kaya tumingin si mam sunny sakin
"Open up the cafe now, I'll look out for this girl" utos ni mam sunny
"Mam sunny wag mo turuan manakot" I mumbled kaya ngumisi lang si mam sunny at tumingin kay raizel
"I have a lot to teach this kid" mam sunny said kaya napakamot nalang ako ng ulo
I started to unlock the front door and put the cakes out
I ref-filed the sugar and creams on the counter, top-up the beans on the grinder para mamaya, up the cups
And finally my first costumer arrived
It's sir Farrington...
"Papa!!" Raizel yelled in joy and runs up to him
"Good morning princess" he greeted raizel and carried her
"Auntie sunny-" mam sunny cuts her off
"I told you no auntie!" Mahina akong natawa pati narin si raizel sa sinabi ni mam sunny
"AUNTIE! Sunny taught me how to be confident!" Raizel continued Empathizing the word 'auntie' kaya napa irap si mam sunny
"oh really?" Sir Farrington said and walked up to the counter
"Good morning sir, what can i get for you?" bati ko dito
"Good morning too, I'll get a americano" he ordered kaya tumango ako
"What size sir?" I asked again
"Medium and make it a take out" he responded kaya tumango ako
"That'll be...₱145 sir" i said kaya nilabas neto ang card nya at ni swipe sa card swipe machine namin
"You can wait in the other counter sir, thank you" i said and pointed at the other counter kaya oumunta ito duon at nag antay
sinimulan ko naman na gumawa ng kape nya
Bumalik naman si raizel sa tapat ni mam sunny at tinuloy ang usapan nila
Once I finished the coffee I immediately handed it to sir Farrington
"Thank you" he said and looked at raizel direction
"Take care of her while I'm gone... I'll be home tonight so eat dinner without me" utos neto kaay tumango ako bilang sagot
Well yesterday, i found out na lahat ng katulong nya is umuuwi din after 6:30 so talagang tatlo lang kami sa bahay, the guards has a room outside the house para makapag bantay parin pero umuuwi din every weekends
He then went up to her and kisses her forehead while saying goodbye kaya ngumiti si raizel sakanya
"Bye bye papa" she said to sir Farrington and waved her hand goodbye to him as he walks out of the cafe
"He's handsome" mam sunny said kaya napatango ako
"Careful van. Baka maging kabit ka bigla" paalala ni mam kaya tumango ako
"I'm aware mam" i said and smiles at them
"Tita mama" pag tawag ni raizel sakin kaya napatingin ako
"Hmm? Mama?" Pang aasar ni mam sunny kaya namula ang muka ko
"It's not what you think mam" i said immediately pero humigop lang ng kape si mam sunny habang naka ngiti ng nakaka loko
"Yes?" I turned to raizel
"I'm confidence" she said kaya napa ngiti ako
"Really?" I said and pinched her cheek
"Yup! No boy can away me na!" She said kaya napatingin ako kay mam sunny
"What? She doesn't need a man in her life duh" sagot ni mam sunny sa tingin ko kaya napa iling nalang ako
Time passed by real fast and it's already lunch time
"Anong gusto mong lunch?" I asked raizel habang nag kukulay ito ng coloring book nya
"Hmm..." she thinks for a moment
"Do you want chicken?" I asked kaya nag isip uli ito bago ngumiti at tumango
"Chikin!" She joyfully said kaya ngumiti ako sakanya
"Okay! I'll just inform auntie sunny" i said kaya tumango ito
I walked to the kitchen and told mam sunny our order
Yup, mam sunny is also our cook in here. Hindi lang pag tataray at ganda ang ambag nya
Bumukas naman ang pinto at nakita ko si sir Farrington na papasok at may kasunod na lalaki
"Good afternoon po sir" i greeted him kaya ngumiti ito sakin
Tumingin naman ito kay raizel at hindi na ito inabala dahil busy ang bata sa pag kulay
"This is my assistant, oliver" pagpapakilala ni sir Farrington sa assistant nya
"And this is Vanessa, May daughter babysitter" pagpapakilala nya din sakin sa assistant nya kaya ngumiti ako dito
"We'll eat lunch here" sir Farrington said kaya napatango ako
"Should i make it spicy-" hindi natuloy ang sasabihin ni mam sunny ng makita nya si sir Farrington at ang kasama neto
"Sunny..?" Bulong ni oliver kaya napalingon ako sakanya
"Magka kilala kayo?" Sabay na tanong namin ni sir Farrington
"He's the one that i stood up/ she's the annoying girl that I've been telling you about" sabay na sagot ni mam sunny at oliver kaya nanlaki ang mata ko
"Annoying?" Iritadong tanong ni mam sunny at hahampasin sana ng sandok si oliver ng may naamoy akong nasusunog
"Mam ung niluto" I reminded mam sunny kaya nanlaki ang mata neto at agad na bumalik sa loob ng kusina
"Well... anyway, what's on your menu?" Sir Farrington asked kaya nilabas ko ang menu namin at inabot sakanya
