Chapter 5

Tanjiro's Pov

"N-Nezuko!" I smiled as I saw Nezuko standing in front of me.

She managed to save me from the poison. She was somehow able to carry me to find the others. Zenitsu was alright, well expect freaking out.

"INOSUKE!, WAKE UP INOSUKE!" his heart was getting fainter, and day break was still a bit away.

Nezuko placed her hand on Inosuke's stomach, pink flames surrounding him. The poison went away soon after. "INOSUKE!" I yelled, hugging the boar, he did not like that one bit.

(I'm going to skip Ume and Gyutaro's backstory, since I've cried enough during the span of Demon slayer ty)

Nezuko was also able to save Mr Uzui, my heart stopped, when I realised I forgot one thing.

"Y/N!?, WHERE IS Y/N?!" I looked around, I could not see her anywhere. Nezuko carried me once more, as she hurried to find Y/n. Thoughts rushed into my head, I don't know where she is, or if she is still alive, my heart started beating faster.

Nezuko suddenly took a sharp turn, and there I saw Y/n, laying on the floor, her leg caught under a massive piece of rubble.

Her breathing was shallow, I could see poison spread over her body. Nezuko was able to heal her, I could hear her heart beat normally. I got her leg out from under the rubble.

"Tanjiro?..." she sat up. Without thinking, I hugged her tightly "Please, don't make me worry like that again!" I hugged her tighter.

She chuckled softly before hugging me back "I promise". She placed her lips against mine, we broke apart for air soon after.

I'm just glad she's save and in my arms.
