I woke suddenly and found myself on the floor by my bed and notice my 3 cats perched cozily on top of it. I grin to myself as I stand up slowly.

I feel slightly dizzy as I attempt to balance myself by resting my arm on my bedside table.

After regaining orientation I open the cupboard and grab all of the treats for my lovely pets. "Good morning, animals!" I say holding the treats in front of all my dogs and cats. Their mouths were watering as they glared at the bag of treats in my hand.

Mars leaps out of his bed and jumps up on to my legs, his paws reaching for the snacks. "Alright, alright, I'll stop teasing you all," I say as I brush Mars gently off my lap.

First I feed the cats their tasty fish. I notice Comet sitting silently, curled up at the back of my bed. "Oh, Comet," I say. "Darling, there's no need to be jealous of Star. I think she's a wonderful addition to the family and I believe you too would get along!" I say, gently petting her. I turn to all the overly hyper, drooling dogs. "Calm down, everyone! We want to make sure everyone gets a bit!" I say.

I begin to hand out their steak which after 10 seconds they immediately devour. They look up at me flashing their shiny, lovable eyes. "Oh you greedy little doggies!" I say, handing them more steak. "But that means the cats get more fish too," I say, giving the cats their extra fish, even though they had barely tucked in to the last bit.

I leave all the food down and rush out my bedroom door. "Time for my breakfast!" I say, skipping excitedly along the stairs. I run to the kitchen and grab a few slices of bread and a glass of fresh milk. I bit into my lovely bread and chugged down my milk in a matter of minutes and then dashed back out the kitchen door not bothering to clean up after myself.

I run back up the stairs and return to my bedroom. "Now," I say. "Which doggy will be joining me on my adventures today?" All of them began wagging their tails, eagerly. I scan along the back row and notice Sailor, with his dashing blue collar on, getting ready to pounce at any moment. "Alright then." I say. "Sailor it is." The other dogs groan in jealousy as Sailor follows me out the bedroom door, hopping around me in circles. "Calm down, you silly goose!" I say, laughing.

"Alright," I say. "Time for a day of adventure."
