My name is R.j. and I'm from Portugal. I've decided, since my peaceful life on a desert island was taken from me, I should fight for it and prove that I was better off there, away from the rest of humanity.
I was forced to leave my whole world there, my house, my home. And yes, I'm literally talking about my house, which I built with my soul. So I've come to the conclusion that my best chance of proving it is by writing about my spectacular Cruz tower, as I call it, because it was inspired by the Marvel's Stark tower and maybe a little bit about my old life on the island.
On the island the weather was very difficult, because in the summer was very hot and in winter was very cold. In addition, at this season there was also hail, which destroys the crops, which were a very nice addition to my survival chances, but more importantly to my new home.
They were one of my priorities, because everyone knows that plants grow slowly and I needed the nutrients. On the island there was little food and a lot of monkeys to feed, as I didn't know if they had diseases I thought it was best not to interfere in these hunger games. Do you get it? That same reason also applied to hunting them, so I lived on shellfish, it was safer and at least I knew what I was getting myself into.
My house is practical on that island for several reasons but at first its greatest advantage was undoubtedly its purposeful resemblance to a lighthouse in order to facilitate my rescue. It is located by the sea and I made it as high as I could so it would be visible from a great distance, it would be less likely that I would be attacked in my sleep and it would be close to my main food source the sea.
The walls have two layers, the first made of wood, which is the easiest material to work with, and the second, about 2 meters high, which only reinforces the base, is composed of rocks, the most abundant material on the island, more resistant and heavy. The floor is wood and the roofs is stone. The structure is hollow, has two floors and to reach the upper floor, I also made a wooden staircase. Finally, there is a window on each floor to let in natural light.
These days, I'm only sure of two things: that my house looks more like Rapunzel's Tower than Stark's Tower; and that nowadays if I were allowed to go back I would install wind turbine and things like that to improve my house even more. The home to which I promise to dedicate the rest of my life, my most precious possession.
