Noah TH : I've been working on a song recently and I asked James if he would drum for me and he said yes , I can't wait to work with him
James : alright bro , let's see what you got
Noah : umm ok it's not perfect but umm
James : just go for it man
Noah : umm ok
(Noah starts singing his song , James starts drumming)
James TH : this is actually good
Noah TH : I don't know whether James is liking the song but I hope he does
Noah : what do you think ?
James : yeah it's good , we could definitely sing this at the fundraiser
Noah : oh no no I can't do that
James : what why not ?
Noah : I can't sing in public
James : what you sang in front of A troupe
Noah : that was before my voice started cracking
Noah TH : James needs to know one thing , I'm not singing in public
Noah : we should just wait another year until , you know , the voice is levelled , you know adult voice comes in
James : no we can't wait a year ! , you have to sing man
(Beth comes in)
James TH : ugh not again
Beth : I could do it
James : do what ?
Beth : sing lead , I'm really good
(James looks at Noah)
James : yeah , Noah what do you think of that ? , her singing instead of you ?
James TH : honestly when I started dating Beth I thought it would be 90% fun and 10% annoying , turns out it's 10% fun and 100% annoying , I mean look at her T-shirt
Noah : maybe we could hold auditions
James : yeah yeah sure
Beth : ok so should I just go practice ?
James : yeah , yeah get going
Beth : ok bye guys
(Beth skips out)
Noah : she , she can't sing , can she ?
James : No she's not singing in our band
Noah : not with that shirt on , did you make that for her ?
James : No , No she made it herself , Listen I don't wanna talk about let's just keep playing
Noah : alright
(10 minutes later)
James : ok Beth let's see what you got
Beth : ok I'm really excited
James : same Very excited as well
James TH : right now we're looking for a singer for our band , why ? , because Noah won't man up and sing in public
(James and Noah click in , Beth starts singing terribly , Noah tries not to laugh)
James TH : what , What is happening right now ?
Beth : whoa , that was really good
James TH : I don't even think words can describe her singing except it's terrible
(It moves to Thalia)
James : we're excited to see you Thalia
Thalia : I'm ready
James : let's see what you got
(Thalia starts singing)
James TH : umm Thalia's a pretty good singer , but she's so weird , like she's lying on the floor , I would like the singer of our band to be standing up
(It moves to Amanda)
James : ok Amanda let's give it a go
Amanda : umm I'm actually really nervous
James : oh there's no need to be nervous , right Noah ?
Noah : stop man
James : let's give it a go
(Amanda starts singing)
James TH : I had no idea Amanda could sing like that
Noah TH : she's amazing , she's the one
James TH : I think we've found our singer
(James and Noah both clap)
James : that was amazing
Amanda : thank you
James : I think your in
Amanda : omg thanks , I was going to go get a juice do you wanna come ?
James : yeah I'm down , Noah ?
Noah : yeah
(They go for a drink but Amanda leaves , they go back to rehearse)
(Beth is staring at James)
(Noah whispers to James)
Noah : hey bro , this is kinda distracting
James : yeah I'm sorry about that
Noah : can you like sort it out ?
James : yeah yeah no worries
(James goes over to Beth)
James : Hey Beth I think me and Noah could do with another juice , could you go get us some ?
Beth : yeah sure
(Beth skips out again)
James : alright let's go
Noah : so you and Riley broke up ?
James : um yeah
Noah : and now your dating Beth
James : um yeah
James TH : you know we're just practicing and then Noah starts asking me questions and it's kinda weird
James : why do you like , Like Riley or something ?
Noah : oh no no of course not , I actually like , actually it doesn't matter , let's just get back to rehearsing
James : yeah let's um do that
(Later on at the fundraiser, Noah and James are waiting to go on stage)
James TH : umm I'm kinda worried because Amanda isn't here , which means Noah is gonna have to sing
James : you need to dig down deep , get over your silly little fear and sing for our band
(James stands up and gives Noah a look , Noah looks at James)
Noah TH : James shoots this look at me , and it kinda made me feel nervous , and it makes me a little more scared of him then I am of performing
Noah : fine let's do it
Noah TH : guess who's performing
(Noah and James go and stage and Noah starts singing , he looks at James whilst James isn't looking)
James TH : things are going really well right now , I'm so glad I haven't messed up in front of Riley , and everybody's loving it , I just hope Noah's voice doesn't crack and he runs off the stage.. crying
(Noah and James Finish the song and James puts his hand on Noah's shoulder)
James : you smashed it , I knew you could do it
Noah : thanks
Noah TH : I'm not nervous anymore and that's all thanks to James
James : do you think Riley liked it ?
Noah : oh um yeah I mean she seemed to be
James : this could be what I need to get her back , thanks Noah your the best
Noah : oh um yeah , bye James..
(James walks out)
Noah TH : I'm kinda sad that it's over , I hope we get to perform again
