*BACKSTORY*
Me and javon have been friends since the 6th grade we are now currently In the 10th grade. I've liked javon since I first met him and everyone knew except for him. I didn't wanna tell him cuz 1 I didn't wanna ruin the friendship we had just built and 2 he was already dating Alexis. And I didn't wanna ruin that bc Alexis was also my friend.

Y/n's pov
I woke up to my phone ringing at 3 am I turned over to my nightstand and looked at my phone and it was Javon calling "hello" I said, all I heard was sniffling coming through the other side of the phone "Javon are you okay" I say trying to get his attention "me and Alexis broke up" he said super low "omg I'm sorry" "it's fine I knew it was going to happen anyways" he said. We stayed up all night well until 5 am laughing and talkin shit abt people until we both fell asleep around 4 almost 5.

*skip a few weeks later

Javons pov
After that call with y/n I caught feelings I mean I've always had feelings for her but I never said anything bc before she said she would never date me maybe she was just saying that but I didn't know so I just never took that risk. But yesterday her friend had texted me and asked me if I liked her.

B/f/n (best friends name)

B/f/n : Hey I gotta question.

Javon: ya Wsp

B/f/n: do you like y/n like more than a friend.

Javon: why who's askin

B/f/n: me I was just wonderin

Javon: I mean ya I like her but she even said it herself she would never date me so I ain't gotta chance with her.

B/f/n: we'll actually she does like u

Javon: nah I needa hear it from her ur Lyin

B/f/n: no I'm Fr text her an ask her

Javon: Alr

Y/n's pov
I was hanging out with b/f/n and I was telling her how I like javon and all but idk if he likes me so she asked if she wanted me to text him and find out for me and I said sure. After that I got a text from Javon.. my heart was beating fast asf.

Javon: hey

Y/n: hey

Javon: so I have a question

Y/n: what's up

Javon: do you like me

Y/n: I mean ya but I didn't wanna tell you anything cuz I didn't wanna ruin our friendship

Javon: ya same

After that we ft all night and talked and laughed an stayed up til 5 am again.
