Unlike the first day of school the other days weren't as bad of course not counting the glares I got from Whitney and some members of her cheer squad. There were many attempts to trip me in class, the hallways and the cafeteria but as the graceful conniving beauty I was they were the ones that tripped instead of me. Celeste and I for those 3 days were joined at the hip and it wasn't too early for me to say that she was a true friend. Eric as well continued to be Eric which is the only thing I can use to describe him. He was one of those persons who you could describe in vivid detail but after using those descriptions you notice something else and it seems your past assumptions were all wrong.

However I did get to see what Celeste told me about with all the girls who flirted with Eric and I regret every minute of it. Some of the girls were just out right throwing themselves at him like seriously pride and class ladies, then there were other normal and shy ones who brought up such weird intellectual topics that they could discuss with him. Those girls were actually able to talk to him the longest until he got bored and said the ted talk was over. Sometimes he'll go as far as saying that since they love ted talks so much they should watch some on how to flirt. That actually hurt.Brutally as a female and as Victoria I would have totally put him in his place for being an overconfident prick but yet I couldn't. Not because the whole Mary Jane thing had made me soft it's only been a couple days but because he somehow managed to make the rudest of insults sound good. Is that the word? Nice? Sexy ? Hot? I don't know what the word is but it's sadly and I can't believe I'm thinking this its like you want to be insulted by him just so you could hear the confidence and chillness in his voice and watch how his face looked completely bored while what he is saying something that your A- brain still cannot comprehend until after he's gone and your wondering why you missed your chance to show him you were smart just because his presence completely brainwashed your brain.

It was clear to me why Celeste liked him. If I didn't have a crush on Zeke and if Celeste wasn't my friend I would have totally allowed myself to like him too but unlike a certain ex best friend who shall not be named I have protocols. Speaking of Zeke I can officially call him my friend and vice versa I think. I hope so. For the last 3 days we both reached school at approximately the same time and he continued with showing me around the school. Yesterday I told him that he had taken me to every part of the school so he didn't need to waste his time on me. He then said it was his duty as my tour guide to show me around the school for the first week until he can come up with another excuse for next week. Thus marking the day I officially can say I have a crush on Zeke Domonic. Also much to Celeste's joy and disappointment nothing strange had happened between Eric and Zeke. There were moments when Zeke would stop by our table to say hi but that was it. There was no longing glance, no physical touch and not even an individual acknowledgment between the two.

"Your friend isn't here? Did you scare him away, Mary?" My dad asked as we pulled up at the school's gate. I looked inside the school to see that my dad was right. Zeke wasn't there.

"Oh come on Dad." I groaned as I got out of the car and he laughed.

"Just kidding. Enjoy your day and remember you're going to have to get back by yourself today." My dad reminded me because he would be working late.

"Dad, it's totally fine. I'm not a kid ,you dropping and picking me up from school is weird and drawing attention." I teased and he scratched the back of his neck.

"Well that is a fair point. We'll have this conversation at dinner. Bye love."

"Bye Dad." I said with a wave and he wined up the car window and left.

I turned and walked into the school yard looking for Zeke. I wondered if he was somehow late until I noticed his black Audi a6 was parked where it normally was. I still couldn't get over the fact that Zeke had an Audi a6 like that's millions of money on a car. It's insane. I continued looking around the parking lot but no one I saw was Zeke. Probably he had morning training. That's a thing right and it's not like he has my number to call me. I walked into the school heading towards the library to find Celeste. As the journalist she is, Celeste always got to school early and coped herself up in the library until the bell rang for the first session. Thanks to Zeke I did know my way to the library which was practically at the back of the school but I messed up what was the longest route. Since the hallway had barely any classrooms there I realised that I had indeed taken the longest route. I walked past one of the storage closets and saw the familiar corner that led to the library. As I was about to bend the corner the janitor's door opened so naturally I looked back but what I thought I was expecting was not what I saw. What I saw... I can't even begin to comprehend what the hell was going on.
