"Whoa buddy, Isn't this a bit fast?" Sonic says, stepping back.

"But, I really am in love with you!" I protest. Why is he so hesitant?

Sonic is quiet. Suddenly, I remember. Sonic is literally 35. I am a third grader.
Right. Then why did that gravitational pull seem so real, like the universe is WANTING us to be together? Must've been my imagination.

But, Without Sonic nearby, I felt so empty. So very, very empty. Who am I without that Hedgehog near me?

Walking home with that annoying sister of mine, I have made up my mind I cannot date Sonic. Why did that even seem like a possibility, me with a guy like him...
