Isabel Del Campo never really noticed Remus Lupin. All she knew was that he was the cute tall boy in her year that was friends with the so called marauders and to be honest she made no effort to learn about him either. So it was  quite the shock when she found out that he and his friends were complete arseholes.

*Flashback*

"Maeve you know you don't have to stay with me right" Isabel said looking up at her fatigued friend in the chair across from her " Are you sure Isa I mean you don't know what kind of people stay at the library at night." "Maeve I promise nothing is going to happen to me. Go to bed you look like you're going to pass out on this table." "Fine but only because you're reassuring" Maeve said slowly getting out of the chair. "Don't study too late nerd" Maeve said while leaving the Library" "Goodbye Maeve" Isabel said with a slight chuckle. "Okay Isa you got this focus on the paper" Isabel muttered quietly. What Isabel was unaware at the time was the two boys in the corner sneaking looks at her and talking

"Okay Rem all you need to do is go over there talk a little maybe even flirt if you want and then I'm going to come up behind her and pour all of this black paint on her notes" James Potter said looking at his friend with excited eyes. "And your doing this why" Remus said unimpressed. "Because Remus if you must know she embarrassed me in front of Lily and now I must get revenge" "James that's actually the stupidest reason to prank someone I mean you embarrass yourself in front of Lils all the time" "Oh so now you and my lily flower are on nickname bases"

 James I-" Remus tried saying

"I knew it I knew you and-"

"Fine ill do it but only to get you off back about this whole lily thing"

"I knew there was a reason I said hello to  you on the train first year"

"yea yea whatever" Remus said walking away

Isabel was so engrossed in her studies that she didn't even realize the boy standing in front of her until he tapped her shoulders "Hello" Remus said "can I sit here" he then pointing to the chair in front of her "sure" Isabel said barely looking at him

"You're Isabel right?"

"Last time I checked yea" she said finally looking up from her papers" Why?"

"Oh we just have potions and divination together so I just wanted to come hello"

"Oh well, hi." Isabel said slightly awkward

"Um what are you studying for" Remus said pointing at her papers

"Oh these papers are for my ever so lovely Runes class which I hold so deeply in my heart" Isabel said sarcastically while putting a hand on her chest"

"You know I always thought you were cute but who knew funny too"

"well who would have guessed huh" Isabel said looking at his face and all the little freckles on his nose

Remus then looked at her with his tongue poking out of the side of his cheek " I didn't know you were so bold Isabel maybe I should have came earlier

"Yea maybe you should have" Isabel said softly

Remus almost forgot the reason they were talking then he saw James walking towards them out of the corner of his eye and before he knew it James poured the black paint all over her and her papers. She immediately pushed away from the table and jumped out of her seat. "What the hell" Isabel said standing up and looking at James. James said nothing but what currently bent over with his hand on is stomach laughing. "that was- that was too good Remus" James said in between laughter. "I still cant believe that worked so well" James said still bent over in laughter.

"You both are complete dicks" Isabel said picking up her now covered note and backpack

"Oh c'mon now don't get your panties in twist it wasn't that bad" James said finally somewhat calmed down from his laughter

Isabel was red with anger "sincerely fuck both of you" she spat walking away from the two boys

*Flashback over*

From that day forward Remus lupin and his group of friends left a bad taste in Isabel's mouth and she made sure of avoiding them at any given chance. She hated the way they didn't apologize and how they went on like they did nothing wrong. She hated the way they were cocky and most of all she hated that she somewhat liked talking Remus Lupin and no matter how hard she tried she couldn't stop herself from thinking that Remus lupin was the fittest boy in their year.
