Chapter 2 {The Party}

After staring in the mirror for 30 minutes straight, Addy finally got up and sprawled out on her bed. Suddenly, she heard knocking on her door and a loud voice appeared. "Get the fuck out of bed lazy." Kenzie said while sitting down next to her. Addy looked at her watch and noticed an hour had passed. "I already said i'm not going." She put her head down once more. "Well, you wouldn't want me to waste my money on this expensive dress that i already bought you, would you now?" Kenzie held up a gorgeous emerald green silk dress. Addy wasn't a sucker for beauty, but her eyes twinkled in awe.

"What do you think?" Addy turned around in the mirror and stared. She had always hid her body shape, but now she was finally seeing it, she was astonished. Her body was perfect, this dress was perfect. She couldn't deny, she loved the feeling of being pretty. Kenzie sat her down in a chair, and began the glow up.

Addy was amazed to see herself so beautiful! She had to go now..show the assholes how hot she really was.

Kenzie's smile grew wide in the rear view mirror. Once we pulled up to Ryan's house, a rush of anxiety fell through my bones. It honestly scared her. She couldn't understand why this was happening! Kenzie opened the door for her, and they exited the car. "I'm not to sure what you're so stressed about, but it's gonna be ok. Be a badass, not a sadass tonight." Kenzies hand slowly left Addys, she was now on her own.

Addy walked into the house, she felt eyes lay on her. She was not used to this kind of attention. Then, out walked him. "Ohh, look who decided to show up. You left your depressing room!" Laughs came from all around. Addy already knew this night was gonna be hell.

While she sat at the bar alone, she gazed into the distance. Ryan seemed happy with his gf, Samantha Ditter. She was the most beautiful girl in school. Addy stood no chance. With a feeling of despair, Addy got up and walked to the bathroom. Who knew such an "exiting" party would be so depressing. The loud music was only a distraction.

"Is anyone in there?" She asked the wooden barrier. With no response, she walked into the restroom. "Jesus Christ!" She yelped. A hand covered her mouth. "What the hell!" He choked out. While staring at him in confusion, she slid down the wall.

"So, why are you here instead of being with hottie of the century?" She said annoyed. "Y'know I may seem perfect but i'm not." Ryan sighed. She wearily nodded her head. "Sorry, you don't care." He got up and left Addy sitting alone and confused..
