Ryan's pov
After staying in bed for half of the day,finally getting out of bed and leaving my room,I went downstairs and poured myself some coffee.I then decided to play some pool,since I didn't know what else to do.as I played pool,I heard Maddie greeting me.I turned my head and looked at Maddie,who was carrying Layne in a baby carrier."oh,hey Mads."i greeted her,"where's Bam?"I asked as I immediately realized we were the only ones in the house."he went shopping with Ape,Novak,and Dico."she replied,walking into the kitchen."what are you doing?"I asked,"well I'm gonna make lunch,"she replied."but I wanted to ask you a question."I gulped,"Let me guess,you want me to hold Layne?"i asked.
She nodded,making me gulp again."I...I don't know."i replied,she sighed and walked towards me."you know,Layne really wants to meet his godfather."she said,making my face light up."he does?"i asked,she nodded.she gently took Layne out of the carrier and gently handed him off to me,"why don't you guys watch some tv?"she suggested.i carefully held Layne as she led me to the living room,i carefully sat down."what if he gets hungry?o-or needs a diaper change?"I asked nervously,"then you just call me,simple as that."she replied.She patted my head,then she gently kissed Layne's forehead and headed back to the kitchen.
I nervously looked down at Layne,who was staring at me with his big eyes."Man,you really are a clone of your dad."i joked.as expected,he didn't say a word.I gulped nervously,"let's watch some MTV."i suggested.I sat him up on my lap and turned on the tv,Jackass ironically was playing on MTV.Layne smiled and squealed,clapping his hands.I looked at him and gave him a shocked look,I smiled and chuckled a bit."of course you like seeing your uncles get hurt."I joked,he looked at me and smiled.
