A few hours later Shane decided to go back into prop storage to see what there is to do.
Steele went along for the walk since he has nothing else to really do at the moment
"The prop storage is nicer then I remember it being. You know what it is. Not as many props as there are in the 2000s" said Shane
"Really. I guess it's gets worse" said Steele
"Yes and no. Just a lot more props get added and it's gets moved around a bunch. It's in a much better state then it's been in years" said Shane
"Why did you want to come back down here again" asked Steele
"To find some shit to do. I'm super bored and this is the only place I can look without being seen" said Shane
"I'll leave you to it. I'll be practicing upstairs if you need me" said Steele
Steele floats through the ceiling
"What a strange little man" said Shane "Ok let us see what we are dealing with here"
Shane goes down the few shelves and finds a few interesting items
"Knowing the book shelf from previous experience in the prop storage. There are treasures to be found" said Shane
Shane starts to look through the bookshelf
Meanwhile Upstairs Steele is reading the Handbook for the Recently Deceased
"Let's see how can I become less scary of a ghost" asked Steele "Let's see"
Steele flips through the pages
"Here we go. This will do the trick. Time to study" said Steele
Steee studies what he found.
Meanwhile Shane in prop storage
"So many great books. Some fake with treasure in them. Some are brand new which we have in the future still. Wonder how they stayed mostly in tact over the 60+ years. Wait what's that way in the back" asked Shane
Shane reaches for a beaten up book that has not been seen in years.
""Time Travel and the Possibilities it Holds: DIY kit included" it would help if I knew where the kit was located. Wait there's the fine print" said Shane

Note the kit is sold separately but you didn't not need the kit. Instructions included on page 394.
"Wow that is helpful I am glad I saw that or else I would be fucked" said Shane
Shane turns to page 394.
"Please read the chapter on time travel and understanding building a Time Machine before attempting to build a Time Machine" read Shane
"Pfft.I've time traveled and I know how it works. So I should be fine. Anyway if I build this I can see my friends again. But that can mess with the fabrics of time. If I don't build it then I'm stuck here forever. You know what...Fuck it. I am going to build it" said Shane
Shane sees the materials he needs and starts to look around the prop storage.
"It's so easy when everything you need is right in the same room. The only thing I don't have is plutonium to power the mini flux capacitor which needs built. I'll ask Steele in a few minutes. Want to get to that point before I ask for help" said Shane.
Shane gathered all the materials and headed upstairs.
Steele sees Shane come upstairs with a lot of materials.
Hey Shane what you got there? Asked Steele
"Uhhhhh (Shane trying to come up with an excuse)
materials to make props for Cats" said Shane
"Hmmmmm. Ok I'll allow it" said Steele
"How's the studying going" asked Shane
"It's going. Feel like I'm getting so much ghost knowledge down" said Steele
"Great. I'll be in the shop" said Shane
"Ok. I'll be here studying and practicing if you need me" said Steele
Shane enters the shop and sets the materials down and opens the book to page 394
""Turn the page to see building instructions" read Shane
He turns the page and sees what he needs to get started.
Cue montage of Shane Shane reading instructions and building the machine
"Take the remote control and open it up removing all components. Minus the switches. Those are key to time travel" read Shane
"Next cut out section to add calculator" read Shane
Montage of the next few steps
"Finally add the plutonium pellet and make sure to have some with you. (Unless you go to a place it's everywhere)" read Shane
Shane was getting ready to ask Steele about the plutonium when he saw a drawer labeled plutonium and had a single pellet inside
"Either I'm crazy or someone knew I was going to build the machine and wanted to help me out. Wait remember I'm with Steele in the future so that would mean he helped me out from the start. Or came in and placed it without me knowing" said Shane
"Well. I am thinking too much into this. I'm ready to leave" said Shane
Shane puts in the year he remembers it being, a few days after he left and pushes the button
Shane starts to disappear and the button drops to the floor.
"Hey Shane I may need your help with....Shane. Shane. Where did you go" asked Steele.
Steele walks over and picks up the button
