"Wassup?" "You know how I've been clean for a while now?" "Yeah" "well yesterday I tried to get something from Fezco" "Ru-" "I know I know, but look, I'm going to try this time"
In a way I was upset Rue was trying to take drugs behind our backs, but I was also glad she was at least talking to me.
"*sigh* come here twin" I said, moving over so Rue could have space in my bed.
"Thank you" I mumbled, my twin looking at me confused "for what?" "For telling me, no offense but ever since you met Jules and stuff I feel like I'm on the back burner or something, guess that's selfish though huh?" I asked.
"No not at all, I'm sorry, it's just I really like Jules and I keep forgetting things an-" "Rue it's okay, I don't think the both of us need to cry to get our points across" I said, the both of us laughing.
"I love you twin" Rue said, a smile on my face "I love you to twin"
Time skip Finally the carnival was here and just as planned, Rue and Gia agreed to all hang out, but obviously Gia wanted to bring a friend, which I didn't mind.

"Ight ladies, as your designated driver, I think it's time to dip" I said, everyone already in the living room.
"Bruh I swear your style is putting us to shame twin" Rue said "my bad?" "Mhm, that's why I had to wear those clothes you got me" Gia said, making me roll my eyes.
"Whatever, now let's go yall" I said as we walked out the house, mom currently at work right now.
Once we were in my car I had "Sacrifice" by the Weekend playing, all of us singing along.
By the time we got to the carnival it was dark out already, and there were a lot of people here.
"Ay let's do that shooting game" I said, everyone agreeing as we walked over, Rue holding onto our tickets.
"Ight ladies, good luck" the game guy said as I held onto the riffle, Jules coming over to talk.
After fixing my glasses for a second, I had aimed the riffle and shot it off, hitting the very middle of the paper.
"Bro you're a great shot" Jules said "yeah she plays this one like every time the carnival comes around" Rue said.
After a bit of talking everyone ended up splitting up, even Lexi who saw one of her theater friends, leaving me behind.
"Lame as fuck" I said, walking over to the pretzel stand, seeing Fez.
"Oh hey Fez, didn't think you'd be here" I said "yeah well I gotta make that bread somehow" Fez said, giving someone a ticket.
"True, but anyways ion wanna bother you, so imma go" I said awkwardly, Fez grabbing my arm.
"Come on now Beautiful, you know you ain't never annoying me. Look imma give out some more tickets, you go chill with Ash and once I'm done we can hang out"
From Fez's proposal I had smiled "sure that sounds fun" I said, about to walk to the pretzel stand when Rue called me, asking where Gia is.
"This is literally why I said to not split up" I said, putting up my phone and starting the search for Gia.
Now I was pushing past people, calling out for Gia when Rue called again, telling me where Gia was.
"Whew god damn, all this running around" I said, catching my breath, confused on why Rue looked upset, seeing that Gia was sitting around with these kids, two of them being Roy and Troy.
"Gia come on, we gotta go" I said "Oh come oooon Y/n, we were having fun" Gia said, obviously high.
"Gia you're high?" I asked "hell I don't know why you're asking, be smoking blunts like nobody's business" Troy said, his friends finding it funny.
"Cause it isn't, now come up" Rue said "man when did you two become such bitches?" Troy asked, and me and Rue shared a look, my twin stepping back so I could walk up to the boy.
"What'd you say?" "Man was it after yo twin Od?" Troy asked, making my fists ball up before punching him.
"Yo what the hell?" Roy asked while standing up "say some shit like that again and imma punch the fucking melanin off you" I said, grabbing Gia and walking away, Rue laughing as we did.
"What the hell Y/n, why'd you hit him?!" Gia yelled "uh did you not hear what he fucking said?" "So? We were all high" "yeah without at least telling us"
I know it was hypocritical to say all of this but also I just don't want Gia hooked, even if it is just weed.
"Look I'm sorry Gia, we were just worried and shit, come here" I said, giving my little sister a hug, Rue joining in.
"Damn let me call Fez real quick" I said, remembering that we were supposed to chill.
"Yo beautiful" "hey Fez, sorry for not being there and shit, my mom wanted us home and I had to look for everyone" "nah you're good" Fez said, sounding like he was putting stuff up.
"You sure I can't make it up to you or something?" "I mean, let me take you out for that brunch shit" "sure. Tomorrow?" "Yeah, ain't never had brunch anyways, especially with a beautiful girl" Fez said, making me smile.
After a little bit of talking we had hung up, Rue and Gia grinning at me.
"Y'all, don't even" I said, knowing that the two were about to get started.
"Hey my lips are shut" Rue said "mhm, nobodies saying anything about you talking to your man" Gia added.
"Bruh y'all are weird sometimes"
Eventually we made it home, telling mom that Gia was sick from getting on so many rides, before heading to bed for the night.
