Note: This part later bears [pun unintended) no relevance on the story later on, and merely serves as an extra for the time being. If I later revise other parts to change or fix this, this note will no longer appear. However, if you are reading this, then it is still currently the case.
~???'s POV~
While the others were away and in their rooms, I explored the building a bit. It seemed to be quite large, having rooms for the animatronics and such. It was a little hard to see as the lights were off at the moment.
If I recall correctly, I think I remember hearing that the staff added them recently. If this is true, they certainly did a good job at it.
Someone must have noticed me, as I heard someone scream in terror.
"AHHHH!!! W-Who are you?!" The voice yelled. I knew that voice anywhere. It was Toy Freddy, or 'Teddy', as he's often called.
I turned around, and saw him pointing at me with a terrified expression on his face.
I wasn't sure how to react, so I just stood there for a few seconds, frozen. Unsure what to say, I decided to say the only thing I could think to say.
"There's no need to be afraid. I won't hurt you." I said calmly. Due to the darkness in the room, the bear probably couldn't even see my body. Only my eyes and teeth, so I could understand the fear the bear felt.
Teddy seemed to calm down, but only a little.
He spoke in a quieter voice this time, no longer yelling.
"O-Okay sir, but can you...at least tell me who you are..?" The bear asked nervously. He held his hands together near his chest as he watched me, seeming to be a bit wary still.
I nodded.
"My name is Shade. I am another Freddy, though you probably can't tell that at the moment due to how dark this room is." I told the bear. Teddy nodded.
"W-Well, how about we head somewhere where I can see you..? It would make me less...u-um...afraid.." Teddy asked nervously, looking towards some light in another room in the distance.
"Of course. I wouldn't want you to be afraid of me after all." I agreed.
"Then follow me.." Teddy then led me to the room. It was actually a hallway rather than a room.
The light then revealed my dark purple body, lighting it up from the darkness. Teddy turned around as he eyed me, his mouth open in awe.
"Woah! You actually look...really cool!" Teddy said, no longer sounding afraid but actually...excited?
A big smile grew on his face as he grabbed onto my hand.
"Wow! And your hand is quite large too!" Teddy then giggled a bit as he rubbed his hand on mine a bit.
"Well, you certainly feel fuzzy too. Are you an older model, perhaps? Not that there's anything wrong with that of course! In fact, it's actually quite cool in my opinion." Teddy said as he looked up at me, eye to eye.
I was caught off guard by the bears reaction, so I took a few seconds to regain my composure.
"Well- um-, Yeah, I guess you could say that, heh...most others are...actually quite creeped out by my appearance. It's actually why I usually only come out in the dark when no one is around.." I explained, a small frown creeping up onto my face.
