"You know, another thing about Osamu is tha-'' a young man slurs his words sloshing around his glass of wine in a hazy slow dance.

"Be careful!" Akutagawa stands up from the booth and steadies him from crash-landing onto another table.

They both return to sitting down. Akutagawa tiredly returned to his laptop, moving a glass of water to Chuuya, who hesitantly drank it.

"C'mon man, live a little! At this rate Poe" –he stops talking, to quietly burp– "would be more social than you." Chuuya leaned his head on Akutagawa's shoulder. Not to be affectionate of course, but to peek into the laptop of the other. He furrowed his eyebrows and retracted his head, too drunk to be affected by the dizziness of the sudden movement. "Seriously? I invite my good buddy to our favorite bar slash restaurant to relax with me, and my good buddy just can't drop work for a single night?"

"I am not anti-social, you didn't invite me here, Dazai asked me to come here to accompany you and make sure you don't get blackout drunk," and with eyes glued to the laptop screen he quickly adds, "and i'm just reformatting this chapter in a minute."

Chuuya rolled his eyes and dragged Akutagawa out of the booth.

"Hey, what the hell?!"

He continued on ignoring the other man. They walked up to the bar where they sat next to each other [in front of the bartender].

"Listen, Akutagawa Ryuunoske.." Chuuya signals the bartender for a refill of his drink. "This will be the last time I'll ask you."

Akutagawa stays quiet.

"I'm going to make it simple: You, my friend, need more people than you think you need, more support than you are willing to ask for. So," he chugs his glass first. Akutagawa looks at the bartender to confirm that this will be the last drink Chuuya will be allowed. "My lovely child, my sweet, sweet crow, my dearest hon-"

"Please get to your point, Chuuy-." a hand was put on Akutagawa's lips to shut him up.

"Shush! I'm getting to it."

Ranpo Edogawa leaned into the conversation, just having sat down from a long day of work to order a drink. "Hey, Chuuya. Are you finally getting Ryuunoske to be introduced with other people to help his crippling lack of social skills?"

Chuuya nods.

"HUH??" Akutagawa exclaimed.

The drunk man quickly grabbed him by the collar again to stop him from disagreeing once more. He bolts to the closest interesting looking person he could find and taps their shoulder. "Hey, hi. I'm Nakahara Chuuya."

The unsuspecting victim has white hair and simple clothing. They seemed to be waiting for their order, and turned around to meet the two strangers.

Chuuya smiled sweetly at him. Helooked confused but returned the greetings "Hi, I'm Nakajima Atsushi."

"Oh, have you met Akutagawa Ryuunoske?" he forcefully shoved the man out.

Akutagawa stumbled and turned red for a moment, but gathered his composure. He greeted Nakajima, all while he wondered what he could do in retaliation to Chuuya. Afterwards he found himself stranded, the (semi-)drunk man wasn't standing beside him anymore. He saw him sitting back in their booth with Edogawa, waving and giving him a hopeful thumbs up. He swore he saw him flash a devilish smile, taunting him.

Nakajima, finding that there was no choice in this situation, continued first. "So what do you do? If you don't mind me asking.."

"I'm a writer."
