Y/N POV, age: 7

I was sitting outside, trying to unlock my semblance when some kind of portal opens in front of me and pulls me into it, throwing me into a place that I've never seen before with strange animals that look nothing like Grimm.

Y/N: w-where am I?

Y/N POV, age: 12

I've been on the Arks for about 5 years now. I've made a base and tamed some of the creatures here while perfecting my semblance which I named Final Genesis. Apparently my aura is connected to this place, letting me make portals here whenever I want as well as letting me transform into my tamed creatures.

Y/N POV, present day

I fire a shot from my Tek Bow, the arrow hitting the eye of a Giganotosaurus and killing it instantly

Y/N: fucking Gigas attacking my base...

I walk back into the walls of my compound to see a familiar portal

Y/N: hope you're ready, Remnant. Because I'm coming home.

And with that, I grab my Tek armor and sword and step through the portal, my trench coat billowing in the wind as I take a deep breath

Y/N: finally... I'm home.

I decide to take a brisk flight through Vale as I morph into my Hatezegopteryx form and take to the sky, letting out a quick call

Ruby POV

I'm standing in a dust shop, reading a weapon magazine when I hear a weird call. Definitely not any kind of Grimm I've heard, but my attention is drawn to someone pointing a sword at me

Man 1: hands in the air!

Ruby: are you... robbing me?

Man 1: Yes!

Ruby: ohhhh.

I then send him flying out of the window, running in front of a massive... thing that looks like some kind of lizard. The lizard thing then lets out a powerful roar, catching everyone's attention

Just then, a man in a white suit comes out and looks on in fear

White suit man: w-what the hell is that thing?!

The creature then bites at one of the other men with the man in the white suit, the force at which it snaps its head back up tearing him in half before turning into a smaller creature that extends a type of frill that shoots a flurry of spikes, killing the remaining henchmen before turning into a boy barely older than myself

White suit man: well Red and Scales, I think we can both agree that this has been an eventful night. Unfortunately I'm afraid that this...

He then points his cane at us as an iron sights pops up

White suit man: ...is where we part ways

He then fires his cane at us and I brace for an impact that never comes. When I look up, I see a strange looking reptile standing in front of me, blocking the shot

Y/N POV

I had just blocked a shot for a girl with silver eyes using my Magmasaur form while she asks the shopkeeper if he's alright if we go after him, I change back into my Velonosaur form and fire a spike right into his leg, causing him to shout in pain before I turn into my Managarmr form and boost onto the roof in front of him as the girl takes his flank.

White suit man: persistent...

He then limps onto a Bullhead, pulling out a dust crystal and throwing it at us as I turn into my Fire Wyvern form and use my massive wings to shield the girl from the blast, taking to the skies after the fact and blasting the Bullhead with a powerful stream of fire

I notice a huntress looking on with pure shock as the Bullhead gets away and I land, turn back to normal and let out a puff of smoke from my nostrils as an aftereffect of my wyvern breath weapon

Huntress: you 2 are coming with me.
