Vi x Reader

Chapter 3

So I just found out that only Silco calls the top side of the Under city Zaun so now I have no idea what to call it but I'll find something also Y/n has a British accent since she is from Piltover, and the mother  is on a business trip, since she is a salesman (I thought of jewels and metal), I hope my writing doesn't seem rushed and I hope you like it!

"Y/n!" I hear my father calling me, I breathe in one last big breath and run down stairs, my dad is in his 'Going to the Under city' uniform. Confused I ask him what's going on, "I'm going to the Under city to collect a prisoner." he said determined "and I will come back soon, do not worry." saying this he crouched down so that our faces are on the same level, he pulls me into a tight hug, and I do the same after a moment my dad pulls away letting his hand rest on my cheek then he kisses me on the forehead and playfully mess up my hair. I chuckle hugging him again, but this time it was short he got up and said goodbye, something felt off, but I mean everything is always a bit off when they go down there for business.

Vi was waiting for the enforcers to come and take her as she hers footsteps she gets up from the chair, she waited calmly, the door was opens only to reveal Vander with Benzo behind him "Vander?" the girl asks with a puzzled face, Vander sighs "We don't have much time." "How did you find me?" the big man takes her by the shoulders and tells her that he's proud and has always been now cupping Vi face. "I'm sorry, I... This is the only way to protect the others." she protested putting her hands on his, Benzo looking outside a window hearing a dog barking interrupts them "Vander." he says their attention goes to him, before Vander turns back to Vi "You've got a good heart. don't ever loose it." he pauses "No matter how the world tries to break you." The pink girl is visibly worried not sure what's going to happen "Protect the family." the man says and then starts pushing the girl somewhere "What are you-" she protests, he pushes her down a couple of stairs into a room "No!" she says before falling to the cold floor. Vander locks the door, stays there for a second listening to the girl bang against the door protesting and screaming for him to open the door, and waits for the enforcers to come since they can hear them breathing through their anti gas masks. A middle aged woman comes in "I'm guessing that's for me." the man look at the 3 enforcers that entered Benzo's shop, the woman nod to the 2 men to get the criminal, so they walk closer to Vander but he stops them by standing in front of them "You gonna let us make the arrest or not." one of them says "Marcus, calm down there's no reason to be this tense." the other one says he looks at Vander with a 'I'm sorry' look, but Vander just replies with "You'll oblige a doomed man one last smoke." he takes out a match and lights his pipe, Graysons eyes widen when she realizes what he means "Won't you?" Vander says puffing out a cloud of smoke "Vander, you can't do this." Y/ns dad says. The woman pulls at Marcus's shoulder so that she can pass through to the big man "I'm not putting you away, Vander." "The council needs it's pound of flesh." but Grayson tries to reason with him "Without you down here, it all falls apart." He huffs a last cloud of smoke and put the pipe down "Benzo will handle things-" "Vander you can't be serious" Y/ns father, Oliver, says but the big man reasons with him "He may not have my devilish charm, but he runs a tight ship." 

The 5 people hear a muffled "Vander no, you can't do this!" "You won't be coming back for a long time" Grayson says through a sigh but the big man knows already so he goes up to Oliver to put him in cuffs, he hesitates a bit looking up at him but them slips the cuffs on Vander, before he goes out Grayson stops him and asks him why but he just tells her "It's the only way." she sigh at this mans stubbornness but really she can't do anything, neither of them could, like he said 'The council needs their pound of flesh.'

I'm back on my beloved balcony retracing what happened a couple hours earlier, everything seems so confusing, but I can't be mad at Vi it's not like she did it on purpose, she had no idea who's house it was but I feel like I'm forgetting something that happened. The last thing she said. Shit. She is going to give herself up and my dad, my dad! He's going to take her!
