Mark is alone in the mansion for once. Well, besides the security and cameras, he is alone. All of the boys are out doing various things and Mark got out of classes early that day. He suddenly decides he wants to do something as a thank you to his boyfriends for taking such good care of him, he really feels like a burden sometimes.

Mark walks into the kitchen to heat up some leftovers for lunch when he gets an idea. He will bake for them! Now, Mark isn't very good in the kitchen, but he can read and follow directions, so it shouldn't be that hard right?

Mark is very, very wrong. He somehow switches the salt and sugar in his first batch of sugar cookies, burns the butter before he could even put the chocolate chip cookie dough on the cookie sheet, puts a hard boiled egg in the cake batter, forgets to put on oven mitts when getting said cake out of the oven, and slices his hand with a knife while washing some of the dishes. Feeling utterly useless, Mark begins to drop to the ground, forgetting that he had a pot of boiling water on the stove to make mac and cheese for dinner. As he is sinking to the ground, his arm hit the pot handle and his bad day gets a lot worse. And a lot more painful.

The first thing Taeyong and Johnny hear when they enter their home is a loud crash and Mark's scream of pain. They look at each other for a split second before taking off towards the kitchen ready to pull their guns out in case of an intruder.

What they see in the kitchen can only be described as an absolute disaster. Johnny runs over to Mark, immediately seeing the boiling water issue. He looks towards Taeyong who's texting the situation their group chat.

Johnny raised his voice a bit to be heard over Mark's sobs and Taeyong's thoughts and asks: "Yongie, can you go get some towels, burn cream, extra clothes for Mark, and the first aid kit please?" Taeyong nods and practically sprints upstairs.
