chapter two

Y/N's POV:
I woke up as normal, and checked the clock. I got dressed and headed down to the garden.

I arrived at the garden in time for the sunrise and sat in a chair next to a table in the garden. I took a deep breath of the fresh air, and smiled one of my fake smiles when I heard someone approaching. "Hello lady y/n, what are you doing up this early?" I heard Sebastian ask. "I always wake up at this time, it's become a natural wake up time for me since my horse enjoys watching the sunrise." I replied my voice devoid of emotion as per usual. "Well, shall I bring you something to eat as a snack before breakfast?" He asked. "No thank you." I replied. He left and I spent the next few hours reading.

Sebastian's POV:
I was reading a book when I heard someone opening a door to the garden. I followed after them and saw lady y/n sitting in one of the chairs by a table. "Hello lady y/n, what are you doing up this early?" I asked. "I always wake up at this time, it's become a natural wake up time for me since my horse enjoys watching the sunrise." she replied. 'she means her horse enjoys the sunrise more than her? Aren't ladies supposed to love watching the sunrise and sunset?' I thought. I was surprised, but shook it off and spoke. "Well, shall I bring you something to eat as a snack before breakfast?" I asked. She turned her head towards me slightly, and spoke. "No thank you." she said. I nodded and left, but she likely didn't see. I started to read by the window, but took glances at her every once in a while. She was reading, and looked quite peaceful. 'Why do I feel drawn to her?' I asked myself. She was just another woman... maybe it was her delicious soul, or maybe her gorgeous face, or maybe it was how she held herself that caught my eye, whatever it was, she was the only person that made me feel that way.

Ciel's POV:
I woke up to a bright light shining in my room. I heard Sebastian walking to my bed and I opened my eyes. He helped me sit up and handed me my tea. I finished it and he helped me dress. "What's my schedule for today?" I asked. "You are to interview the victim's families, lord Trancy is having a party tonight that you are to go to, and narrow down the suspects to the likeliest one." He replied. I nodded and walked to the dining room. I saw lady y/n sitting at the table and smiled slightly. Sebastian went into the kitchen and brought out a tray of food. He presented it to us and we thanked him. The day flew by and we narrowed the list of suspects to the commoner, Johness. We realized that he chose victims randomly, since there was no correlation to the time, place, status, or gender of his victims. I ordered Sebastian to get me ready for the party, and he complied. I walked down the steps to see lady y/n at the door with her butler. She was absolutely stunning.
