"C'mon bro! Last one there's a rotten tuna!"

Y/n: No! You always go on all fours!

"... Ok, I promise I won't."

Y/n: Promise?

"Promise."

Y/n: Thanks, sis.

You woke up in a cold sweat as you had heard a voice you hadn't heard for a very long time, and you just sat there in silence as tears started to pour down your face.

Kris: Y/n?... What's wrong?...

You looked down at Kris who had one of their eyes half-open to look at you, and you wiped away your tears before laying back down next to them with Kris then wiping the tears away.

Kris: What's wrong?

Y/n:... Kris... I... I don't know... I just... keep having these dreams...

Kris: What was this one about?

Y/n:... I... don't know... all I heard was a voice... one I hadn't heard for a long time...

Kris: Hmm... do you wanna talk about it? Or go back to sleep?

Y/n: What's the time?

Kris: Dunno...

Y/n:... I think I just need some air... and tea...

Kris: Hm... ok... but I'm here if you wanna cuddle...

Y/n: Thanks, Krissy.

Kris: Of course, sweetcheeks.

You gave Kris a soft kiss on the lips before smiling at them, they smiled back and closed their eyes as you got out of bed and took your phone off your bedside table and spun around as you turned into your robes before leaving your room silently. You silently walked down the hallway before walking downstairs and into the kitchen.

You made yourself some tea that always helped your nerves calm down, and once it was ready you poured it into a mug and walked into the garden to see it still dark outside, so you looked down at your phone and saw it was 2:30 am, which made you groan in annoyance as you knew you wouldn't be able to fall asleep.

So you walked over to the swinging seat at the end of the garden and sat down as you gently swayed to and fro while drinking your tea. And as you drank your tea, you kept thinking about the voice you heard and why it sounded so familiar but not at the same time. Once the tea was done, you just sat there in silence as the wildlife from the forest at the back of the garden started to make themselves known.

But as you kept thinking about the voice, the more it drove you insane and needed to talk to one of your REAL family members, but none of them was there, it was just you, so you closed your eyes and started to think of the name for your mom so you could summon her spirit. And with your eyes closed, a memory started to appear.
