I nervously fiddled with the box in my hands."hey Ry lunch is-"I jumped back as quickly hid the box in my pocket as I turned around,only to sigh out of relief when I saw it was Bam."you scared the shit out of me Bam!"I exclaimed,he gave me a weird look."whatcha hiding Dunn?"he asked,pointing at my hands(that were behind my back and in my pockets).I gulped,"uhhh,porn?"I lied.he crossed his arms and glared at me,"dude,we've been friends since high school:you can't lie to me,now spill."I sighed."alright fine,"I caved in,"but promise me you will not tell Theo?"I asked."can I tell Maddie?"he asked,"only if she doesn't tell Theo."I replied."then my lips are sealed."he said,making a zipping motion on his lips.
I quickly rushed towards the door.I peeked my head out to see if anyone was coming by,then I got back in the room and locked the door.I turned around to face Bam,"I'm gonna propose to Theo."i confessed.I took out the box from my pocket and opened it up to reveal the ring I got,Bam's eyes widened."holy shit..."he whispered,"god fucking damn it!"he exclaimed."now I owe Maddie 20 bucks!"he whined in annoyance,I widened my eyes and blushed in embarrassment as I gave him a confused look."wait,you two betted on me?!"I asked,"well duh!we knew you'd eventually wanna pop the question,we simply just betted on when you'd man up and do it!"he explained.
