Eight Years Later: Lilly

I've been having those terrible headaches recently, I threw my backpack on my bedroom floor and threw myself face first on the bed, I'm now thirteen, my birthday was yesterday. June 15. There was a knock on my door "Lilly?" Mom asked, I sighed and got up to open the door "yes mom," I said she handed me a bottle of water and an grapes. I thanked her, she also hands me a few of ibuprofen.

I closed the door and went back to my bed, I uncaped the water bottle and placed the pills in my mouth. As I was about to fall asleep there was another knock at the door "what?!" I yelled and got up. When I opened the door Bucky was leaning against the door frame "sorry doll, but Banner wants to see you" he said, I nodded and closed the door. Bucky and I weren't as close as me and Natasha, but he tried his best to make it work.

"So who was school?" He asked I shrugged "fine I guess, Morgan got detention for sassing the teacher" I said, bucky nodded "I bet Tony's proud" he said and I agreed. We made it to his lab Natasha was already there "hey, how are you feeling today?" Bruce asked while setting something up "same as yesterday, in other words, I feel like shit" I said while sitting down on a chair "hey! Watch your language young lady" Steve said while entering the room with Tony, Wanda, and Clint.

Me and Bucky laughed, bucky patted Steve's back "are you still saying that?" Bucky asked "you told him?!" Steve said while facing Tony and Clint "we had to," they both said at the same time. Bruce took my blood "is that really necessary?" Natasha asked Bruce nodded "but you do this all the time" I complain "but if there's really something wrong with you, then this has to be done" Bruce said. I sigh, "I fainted once!" I said annoyed that they're making a big deal out of this.

"You fainted twice!" They all said in a matter-of-fact voice, I sighed "fine twice, but that still doesn't mean you have to make a big deal out of this" I said, they didn't say anything back to me this time. The whole time Wanda stood in the corner not saying one word, I knew she had something to say but wasn't going to say it. Bruce tapped my shoulder letting me know that we were done, I got off the chair and went to stood in-between my parents.

"So?" Bucky and Natasha asked "um, her blood work is completely normal" Bruce said and continued to read off my test results. I walked over to Wanda "what's wrong?" I asked, she jumped "you scared me" she said. Wanda and I were really close up until these headaches started, she shrugged "I have to go" she said then hurried out of the room, I watched her leave. A frown on my face. Clint walked over to me "you alright kid?" He asked, his hand on my shoulder "I think Wanda's mad at me or something" I told him.

He nodded "she'll come around" I sighed "that's what everyone's telling me" I left and headed back to my room. I payed down and finally was able to fall asleep, expect it wasn't peaceful at all.

I was staring at an empty room, I was watching from one side of a window, a younger me was dragged into the room and threw on the floor "next time do as your told" yelled one of the Hydra workers. My younger self's face was covered in cuts and had a bloody lip, 'i' pushed 'myself' into the corner of the room, the leader of the Red Room was right next to the Hydra worker "we'll try again next time" he said and walked off.  The scene changed.

This was right before Hydra left and left me behind. My younger self was standing in the middle of a room, there was the Red Room leader and the Hydra leader and a few other people, along with some older girls standing against the wall. They were all waiting for something or in this case, someone. Two people dragged a man into the room and tied him to a chair that was a few feet in front of 'me'  he had a bag over his head. He started to thrush around in the chair, he also started to scream.

"PLEASE, PLEASE, I HAVE A FAMILY!" he begged, the Hydra leader handed me a hand gun, the safety was pulled off, my younger self looked at the gun then the guy, "shoot him," the guy who handed me the gun said. 'i' took to long to shoot the man "NOW!" the man yelled. My younger self letter the gun, closed 'my' eyes and pulled the trigger. The 'bang' eoched around the huge room, 'i' slowly opened 'my' eyes and looked up at the people. They all nodded her heads and wrote something down "very good, but we have to work on it a bit" the Hydra guy said with a huge smile on his face.

I woke up with a shot, a srceam left my mouth, my bedroom door was thrown open, the light flicked on. The whole compound was filling into my room, "what's the matter?" Natasha and Bucky asked, worry in their voice. Tony came into the room "someone better be dead, dying, or there's an intruder" he said slightly annoyed "none of the above, Lilly had a nightmare" Bruce said, Tony nodded his head "while in that case, goodnight everyone" he turned and left the room. I saw Wanda standing right outside of my door, once she noticed I saw her she turned and left.

Everyone left my room after a bit, I payed down on the bed and looked up at the ceiling, I heard a voice coming from somewhere in the room. I sat up and turned on the lamp "hello?" I asked the empty room.
