As I approached the table with clear hesitance I caught the gaze of one of the other men. He was well groomed which is unusual for most Serpents, unless of course they are the boss or underboss. But this man also held himself different. In a way that one could describe as almost...regal.

My feet longed to freeze in place as my mind assessed the likelihood of it not just being one gang leader at the table. But potentially all four of them. Something that has never been witnessed to my knowledge and yet the evidence was in front of me. None of them showed any inclination of submitting to each other. They clearly all held the same rank and were all very different personalities. Without even speaking to them I could tell that the other two were complete opposites. One with a maniacal grin - Ravager - and the other with a face like stone - an Ace.

I forced myself to maintain my pace and my persona. I couldn't afford to be found out. If they discovered my identity I'd never be heard from again. I wouldn't be killed, at least not straight away. I have caused more damage and death to their gangs combined than they have caused to innocents (so as you can imagine my body count is rather high despite me being a virgin). I can guarantee they wouldn't let me die a virgin. They would likely each let their gangs have a turn with me before finally forcing me to submit to the Royals and their punishment.

Each of them were watching me as I reached their table. Urging my hands not to shake I pulled out my pad and pen.

"What can I get for you gentlemen today?"

...was what I intended to say. However what they heard was something along the lines of:
"W-w-what c-can I g-g-get f-f-for you g-g-g-gentlemen t-t-today?" Wow I felt pathetic.

Apparently the lone wolf is only fierce at nighttime. Don't get me wrong I know that isn't true. I know that in the moment I just froze because right now I'm not the lone wolf. I'm just plain old Brianna. The orphan girl who goes unnoticed due to no friends, and no family.
