The Stranger in Switzerland

Sana's POV

It's been two days since I arrived from Switzerland. I was super exhausted when I got home. All my tiredness came rushing back at me when I arrived. I forgot that I was so tired since I was so busy enjoying myself since the start of my vacation.

I slept the whole day after I arrived at my house. The next day, I was still feeling numb, but my friend Momo came to my house and kept asking me to go with her to the spa. I don't want to get out of bed, but I think I needed a body massage, so I agreed with her.

Right now, I don't know what I am going to do. I have no plans for today. And for work? I work at my Dad's company and he told me I can go back to work whenever I wanted to. Since I am so lazy right now, I decided not to go.

I grabbed my phone from the bedside table and I forgot I haven't seen my photos yet.

As I scroll looking at my photos, I can't help but smile. All the memories from my recent vacation came rushing back into my mind. On my next vacation, I'll travel out of the country again. I love solo traveling, I get to enjoy it all by myself, the only problem is that I get lonely when I get back to the hotel.

Scrolling more at my phone's gallery, I noticed something unfamiliar.

'Who's this?' I asked myself.

I clicked the photo and I finally remembered. It was the stranger I asked to take a photo of me. I probably click the shutter accidentally when I was passing her my phone.

I didn't realize I was already staring for too long and smiling unconsciously.

"She's cute," I mumbled to myself.

I tried to remember her name but I remembered I didn't get to ask her since I was rushing.

I mentally face palmed myself.

Two weeks later...

I'm currently at my office working on some new designs for our upcoming launch. I've been working on this for four days now, but I'm glad I'm almost finished.

After 2 hours, my work is all done. All I have to do now is prepare my presentation for tomorrow's meeting. I need to make sure they'll approve my proposal.

My dad is the owner and the director of this company, he told me that after I graduate from college, I'll be working here as the new CEO. But I declined, I told him I'm not ready yet, so I chose a lower position. Maybe after a few years, I'll be ready to take over.

I was about to start working on my PowerPoint when I heard my stomach grumble. I cleaned and organized my table before going out for lunch. I entered the elevator and went down the second floor because that's where our cafeteria is located.

I grabbed something to eat at the counter and took a seat near the window, it's my favorite spot.

Looking out the window while sipping my coffee, I felt a tap on my shoulder so I turned up to see,

"Jihyoo!" I instantly stood up from my chair and hugged her. "Oh my gosh, I missed you!"

"I missed you too, Sana," she giggled and we pulled away. She took a seat in front of me and place her food on the table.

"How are you? How's your trip?" I asked her, excitedly.

"I'm good, me and Daniel had a lot of fun. Thanks for recommending me the place. It was soo beautiful. It looks better in person, the water was crystal clear, it's so clean and fresh that every time we see it, we feel like jumping in the waters again" she said all smiley.
