After class I caught up with Dustin so I could walk to lunch with him. I almost turned away when I realised we were walking toward the Hellfire table, but I decided to continue walking.
I could hear Eddie rambling on about something. Then suddenly he jumped onto the table. He o rambling then made a face at Jason Carver, head of the basketball team. Eddie then looked down at me and smiled. He jumped down and took my head. "How wonderful of you to finally join us!" He smiled then let go of my hand. He jumped back onto the table and walked to his seat.
I could feel my face going red again. Eddie must have noticed because he looked at me and smiled. He motioned for me to sit in the empty spot between him and Dustin. I took it not wanting to be rude.
Dustin nudged my arm with his elbow and smiled. I lightly slapped him arm and listened to the conversation.
I must have zoned out because next I knew Dustin was snapping really close to my face and saying "earth to y/n." In a sing-songy voice. I shook my head and looked to Dustin. "You ok buddy?" He asked.
"Yeah," I replied. "Yeah I'm good. Sorry about that." Eddie tapped my shoulder. "You're all good man. Just got me worried that I was boring you." He smiled. I smiled back, feeling my face go red again.
