"Hand me some skittles." Lee said and I pick up the skittles for her. We were at the corner store with Mira, buying snacks before we head over to Cig crib to meet his girlfriend.

They were talking for a while but jus popped out.

While I'm lookin for some Arizona juice for Nau'Jour, I feel a tap on my shoulder.

I turn back and a semi tall nigga wit waves looked me up and down while lickin his lips.

"May I help you?" I mug him cause he weird asf.

Who jus comes up behind someone lickin dey lips. "I was jus tryna talk to ya. Yo ass fine asf." He rubbed his hands together and I chuckled.

"Thank you but Ian interested." I try to walk away but he grabbed my arm. "Where you from? You got an accent." I mug him before snatchin my arm.

Fuck is wrong wit niggas.

"Nunya." I mumbled.

"Man fuck you. Ass ain't even cute." He said and I shook my head before rollin my eyes.

"Boy go on somewhere. Big dumbass." Mira called out as he stared at me. He jus kiss his teeth before walking away and out tha store. "Niggas weird." Lee mumbled and we pay for our shit.

"Y'all we should befriend Cig's girlfriend and go to Hawaii for a week." Lee said.

I thought about it and she was right.

"Omg yeah. We could go MIA for that week and be FNF." I said makin them chuckle. "I'm in school though." Mira said.

Shit.

"You a senior. You should be Ight." Mira was 17 but she graduates next year.

"Let's do it. We can leave next week if Cig's girl is cool." Lee said and we leave but as soon as we step outside, bullets got sent flying towards us. Folks started screaming and I fell to the ground after a while.

I don't know why but I stood there for a second before I fell down.

Stupid.

My heart was racing but I made sure Mira and Lee were alright.

Once they stopped I lifted my head.

"Yo what the fuck. Mira, Rumi, y'all good?" Lee said and I nod.

"I'm good. No blood." Mira said with a gulp.

"Fuck Rumi. Where you got hit?" Lee eyes got big and I looked down seeing blood seeping into my clothes. "Ion know." I mumbled and the pain started to sink in.

"Oh fuck. I think ts hit me in da chest and stomach." I started coughing but shit came out my mouth.

I wipe my mouth and it was blood.

Gawh damn.

It was painful but I swear it don't hurt as bad when Nau'Jour punched me in my chest. "Y'all this hurt less than...Nau'Jour's punches." I pause mid talkin and coughed more blood up.
