It's been five days since the god of mischief offered you a place on the team. What was it called? Ah, yes, The Avengers. You were glad Loki allowed you to think about this offer over for a few days, otherwise you weren't sure they would have allowed you to go without a fight.

You just finished drinking some water when you heard the familiar aircraft land nearby. Moments later, you watched Loki appear in front of you a few meters away, covered in green and gold mist from his magic. He smiled in greeting at you from the other side of the river, as you had just finished patrolling your territory's borders and were on the other side of the river where Loki said he would meet you. He watched you as you gracefully unfurled your wings and leaped over the churning water below you to the other side right next to the prince. You shook out your feathers and spoke to him. 'Loki, to what do I owe the pleasure of seeing you again?'

Of course, you knew why he was here, but you were terrible at starting conversations. Loki seemed to know that and gave you a knowing look "I am here to hear what your answer is on the offer I gave you five days ago. I assume you knew today was the deadline?" You nodded. He replied "You have an answer, yes?" You nodded again, 'Indeed' you paused. 'Though, would you be so kind as to walk with me again as you did with me last time?'  You wouldn't tell him, but you rather liked these walks with him. Loki gave you a small smile and nodded "Of course, lead the way" he gestured in front of you, allowing you to take the lead.

You and Loki walked for a little while in the sunny forest. Loki noticed the leaves falling off the trees, finding it quietly peaceful as he walked alongside the Draconix princess. He was gently pulled out of his thoughts as you spoke 'So, Loki, what must I do to be approved by the...Avengers? Is that right?' He nodded "Indeed. The Avengers simply wish to meet you and if you're a good candidate, have you join their team. The avengers wish to have you join them as soon as possible, so they can try and keep you safe from outside threats."

You turned to him in inquiry 'If I may, my prince, but what "outside threats" are you talking about?' Loki turned his head towards you "I have been on the Avengers long enough to know there are dangers that will capture or kill anyone with extreme power, like you. SHIELD and HYDRA are amongst them." You nodded, although having no idea who both those parties are, but you trust Loki to know what he is doing.

You and Loki continued to talk about the recruitment of being an avenger, so you could see the benefits and drawbacks of it. You had your answer from the start, but having Loki and you thoroughly discussing it made it even better. You stopped in a clearing not too far from the Avengers jet, and you realized you had basically walked Loki back to it, but that didn't matter right now. You turned to him, voice confident in your answer 'I have made my decision, and I thank you Loki, for helping me make the right call'. He nodded, both in pride and in impatience. You took a deep breath 'I have decided to join the Avengers'. You watched Loki's face as he had a look of pride, gratitude, and was that thankfulness? You only saw a glimpse of it, so you couldn't be sure you saw it.

Loki gave a small smile in your direction "Wonderful, I shall go ahead and rally the other avengers so that they may meet you". You nodded in thanks for his effort. You felt nervous and excited, but also sort of scared. Loki must have felt your emotions and tried to comfort you the best he could. He wasn't the best at comforting people, but he was trying, for your sake anyways. "It will be alright, they will not harm you." He told you. Loki noticed that you seemed quite warm, like a fire was brewing just beneath your feathers. You nodded again, following Loki to the aircraft; or "The Quinjet" as Loki had called it.

Once you were near the quinjet enough to see it, you slowed your steps, so that you could allow Loki to lead. That way you don't give the others a heart attack. Unfortunately, that plan backfired. Because as soon as they saw you and Loki, their weapons immediately pointed towards you both, all of them ready to fight. You stood behind Loki, trying not to seem as threatening as possible. You wanted to join them, not fight them. You felt the tension immediately rise, essentially making your feathers stand on end in nervousness. Loki held a hand up, seeming to wave off the tension with it "It is all right, this is merely the new recruit I was talking about" he turns to you, his hand gesturing towards you as well "Meet Arashi; Princess of Draconia and Daughter of King Hijiri and Queen Yuki".
