The Curse

Chapter 4 "Farewell"

Jason left the house, and for once in his entire life, he did not experience bad luck on the way to school. Jason was happy the entire day until he heard the news about Anna. Jason ran as he was looking for her.

"Anna! Anna!" Jason shouted. Oh god! Did she leave already? Maybe she's in the principal's office

Jason ran to the principal's office. He took a tiny peek and saw Anna. Phew, I'll just have to wait out here until she comes out. After hours of waiting, Anna finally came out.

"Anna!" Jason hugged her. He had some tears.

"Jason, I'm sorry, I didn't want to inform you, I thought you might get mad at me." 

"No, I will never."

"I'm sorry but I have to go." (Anna) I just realized how corny Jason is. Way too corny.

"It's okay. But.... I'll really really miss you." Jason can't let go of Anna.

"Don't worry, I'll keep in touch. Don't worry too much about me."

"But I can't, I can't stop thinking about you."

"Aww. Yieeeee!" Anna was joking around. "Jooke."

Jason laughed and smiled.

"Better?"

"Yeah, I'll just remind you once in awhile that I'll always be right there beside you."

"Thank you Jason, I appreciate your honesty. And honestly, you are the sweetest guy on earth."

Jason couldn't handle the tingle below his spine so he smiled. 

(Anna) That's one big smile. Weird, but cute. Although, I feel a little bit uncomfortable now.

Jason finally let go of Anna. "Good bye Anna. Take care. You are the only friend of mine that understands me. Thank you for everything, I am very lucky to have a friend like you."

"Thank you Jason, that means a lot. A lot."

"You're always welcome."

They smiled at each other and embraced each other again. 

"Jason, may I tell you something?"

"Yes Anna."

"I.. Like you." After she said that, she quickly turned around.

"I'm sorry Jason, I know that it's weird. Another weird question, Do you like me?"

"Yes Anna, yes."

Anna smiled. "I can't believe it! You like me!"

Jason smiled as well and giggled, "Me too!"

"Fist bump?"

"Fist bump." 

They laughed together and spent the rest of Anna's last day in New York having fun. After hours of fun..

"Jason, thank you for this day. I have to go now."

"Okay Anna, bye. Take care. I'll really miss you."

"Same here Jason."

They were about to kiss but her mom called.

"Sorry Jason, I have to go now. This time, I seriously have to go."

"Good bye."

They hugged for the last time, then Anna left.

That was so close, her mom really had to call and ruin the moment. Next time, just wait until next time. Grr.. But I really wanted that kiss. Whatever.

Jason focused on his studies first until he finished school but since Anna wasn't there, he usually experiences bad luck. Once he finished, he went to Paris to visit Anna and hoped that this time it will turn out the way he wanted it to.
