||2nd person POV||

You, Freddy, and Bon-Bon had been talking for a couple hours; turns out the entire building's power cut out. Even the Breaker Room was powerless, so you nor anyone else could restart the power.

"And that's the story about how me and Bon-Bon success-essfully stole a 5 tiered cake from the kitchen!" Freddy proudly announces. You start cackling at the utter boldness of the actions and the way the plan was executed in the story.

To sum it up, Bon-Bon started singing the opera version of the Toreador March to distract all the employees while Freddy snuck in and stole the cake. Which both him and Bon-Bon ate in the span of 13 minutes before being caught 'cake-handed', as he put it.

You wonder if it actually happened, or if it was a story programmed into him to tell to children to make them laugh.

Freddy smiles at seeing you happy and distracted from the imminent danger just outside the Breaker Room Door. Your little laughs and smiles make him so giddy, although he has no idea why. He tries to dismiss this feeling as just his programming- after all, he is supposed to make kids laugh and smile, like how he is now with you.

But no. This is different. This is a whole new feeling. Entirely foreign to him. He wants to know what it is, but doesn't know what to label it as. The desire to find out burned in his chest.

He's torn from his pondering by a series of loud bangs, coming from Ballora Gallery. It takes a second for him to realize, but-

The sounds are headed for the Breaker Room.

The closer they got, the louder they were; he could just hear the faint music following the sounds. It's Ballora; she must've heard you laughing. Though you stopped laughing a minute or two ago, because you heard the sounds too.

Freddy could see the look on your face change. Although you were perfectly happy and fine a minute ago, your expression was one of fear. You look absolutely terrified.

Seeing this pushes him to the realization that he needs to act quick. Not doing so could have disastrous consequences. He grabs both you and Bon-bon, and ducks behind some of the thick wires that almost blanket the walls. He quickly sits on the ground with his legs crossed, holding you on his lap, and Bon-Bon on your lap.

In the blur of the moment, it seemed like a good idea, and an effecient way of hiding from Ballora, since she kicked down the door and was now inside the room. But he was so wrong.

Yes, it was efficient in hiding all three of you from Ballora, no doubt about it. But having you so close gave him a weird feeling in his stomach. One that lingers. It felt like what can only be described as butterflies flying around. It was the same feeling from before, only far stronger.

He can just feel the warmth emanating from you. The worst part about it was being so close; with you sitting in his lap, right between his legs, curled up with your head resting against his chest. Just realizing this makes him want to squeal like a teenage girl at a boy-band concert.

He couldn't though. Ballora would surely hear. He hugs you to his chest, trying to ease your fear, along with his own. He knows Ballora wouldn't hesitate to attack you all, which especially scares him since he'd seen what she's capable of.

Ballora's aggressive behavior didn't just start with her lack of taste in music, though. Which sucks, because that would've been way better if it had. Wait would it have been? Eh, that's a thought for another time. Anyways, it had started before you even started working here. A month or two beforehand, to be specific.
