The way that girl froze, it didn't seem human. Was it my fault.. Or was she not human? What if I'm not human..
Drogo thought to himself puzzled as ever parking the truck. Fear was controlling him once again. He knew he couldn't get caught here, but he was of age.
He stepped out the truck, his heart was racing, or was that the fear making him think it was? He's head was spinning with thoughts. None if which was good, he only had bad memories here.
But again, he wanted his parents to know he was alive, along with everyone at school. Then again, he didn't. He enjoyed the feeling of freedom with no boundaries.Drogo held his breath walking down the street looking around. He quickly noticed all the old and new missing posters, all of which were for him. The last poster to be published was a couple years ago. That sad feeling overtook drogo once again. He knew they would've gave up eventually but not this soon.
He forced himself to keep walking and walked into a coffee shop he loved. His first crush use to go their with her parents on a daily. He was close friends with her before she moved. They loved a simple iced coffee and would always make the up most lame dad jokes.
Strangely enough, he seen a woman about his age that looked like the girl he once liked working the counter. He of course ordered that same simple salted caramel iced coffee.
The girl was more sad hearing the order and he quickly caught on.She still remembers. It's her..
He thought to himself forcing a smile. The girls curiosity was much time strong for her own good unfortunately.
"I- I'm sorry.. Have we met before? You look so familiar." she said locking eyes with drogo for a split moment while handing him his coffee.
What if I say no? Then what? We'll both be embarrassed and I'll never see her again. But if I say yes she'll probably hate me.
He quickly had gotten an idea.
"I don't think we have- I'm sorry. " he nervously laughed paying for the coffee.
"May I ask your name then?" she said curious as ever." I- I'm drogo-" He nervously said looking back up at her as she takes the money.
The girl pauses glancing at the counter.
"it was nice meeting you, drogo. You just looked like my friend from when I was younger." She said.
"It's quite alright, it happens more often then it seems" He sighed of relief somewhat, but the girl was saddened again going back to taking orders.Drogo felt awful. He knew he lost her again. He couldn't bring himself to drink the coffee either. He gave her another smile. This time it was sad. He was more alone then ever.
