Apollo clocked in at Black Mesa. He had something big to do. He used the bathroom casually, washing his hands n shit, before walking off into a hall, ready to do his own thing. He almost entered the doors when one of the security guards stopped him. He was all scarred up, wearing the usual guard outfit, black hair covering his eyes. In his many years of working, he never heard the following question:

"Excuse me sir, do you- do you have your uhh passport?" The guard inquired.
"Uh, no, I don't normally need it why would I have it?"
The guard glared with a suspicious look on his face. Apollo decided he must've needed it, but he never needed it before now, so he was confused. The guard looked over to another guard.
"I don't think he uh, has his passport.." The guard looked to the scientist Apollo. "Since you don't have your passport, I have no choice but to follow you. It's for the safety of staff."
"But sir, I am staff-"
"I can't tell without a passport," the guard plainly stated, unsure if Apollo was fucking around with him or if he was just really hella stupid.

Apollo learnt the guard's name by reading his tag: Lityerses. It seems that the name Benrey was crossed out, but he wasn't quite sure. Adorably enough, he came across someone else while trying to outrun Lityerses. It was a little girl in a lab coat, who actually DID have her passport. Strange how they let a child work here.
"Uhm, hello, Goddy man, I'm Meg." This child appeared to have no respect for their godly ones. Apollo didn't like that, and walked away as Meg said she liked eating soda for breakfast. That was surely an odd encounter, he thought, as the guard came around the corner from the scientist and got uncomfortably close into his face.
"Why are you shaking like that. You wouldn't shake like that if you got your passport." The real reason Apollo was shaking was because the guard was balancing him horribly on his head while also not. Do not ask anyone to explain. They won't. Lityerses stared, the sunny scientist very much scarily laughing. Giggling even. He did not like that, because he laughed too, accidentally spewing out some green bubbles from his mouth, before promptly covering it. Apollo was very impressed, asking all kinds of questions.

Meg came back, explaining that green meant he's not mean, and that it's called the black mesa sweet voice. Apollo liked it. It made pretty colours.
