The Cook Out

Noah woke up and sat up, noticing she wasn't there. As he stretched and got off the bed he walked into the bathroom. Star was in the shower singing a song that she and the girls made a long time ago, called Time. Noah began to brush his teeth and get ready for the last day of spirit week. Noah put on a black hoodie and jeans, along with a pair of combat boots as a replacement for the heels that Star normally wears. Both the hoodie and boots had flames on the bottom. Both were picked out by Star a couple of months before. He put on a chain, a few rings, and a red and black bandana around his head like a headband. When he was done getting dressed Star was still in the bathroom with a robe on and doing her hair and makeup.

Noah: Good morning.

Star: Morning, baby.

Noah: The girls called you last night. You were asleep, so they told me to tell you to call them when you woke up. Did you already call them?

Star: No, I'll call them now. Can you hand me my phone?

Noah nodded and handed her phone to her. Star grabbed it and facetimed the group chat she had with them, she then propped her phone up against the countertop and the wall. The girls answered.

Star: Hey.

Simone: Hey girl! Glad to see you out of the hospital.

Alex: Hey babes.

Star: How is everything?

Alex: Girl, guess who popped up last night.

Star: Who?

Star said as she put on her t-shirt.

Simone: Scarlett did, she was with some girl...I think her name was Jordan?

Star froze for a moment and looked at them in shock.

Star: Jordan? Curly brunette hair, green eyes, light skin?

Alex: Yep.

Simone: Yep.

Noah: Oh yeah, they did pop up yesterday.

Star: Why didn't you tell me last night?

Noah: Baby, you just got out of the hospital. I didn't want to worry you with that.

Star sighed and finished getting dressed. She wore a shirt that matched Noah's hoodie and sneakers that matched his boots as well. She grabbed a black and red bandana wrapped over her curly hair. Noah put a matching chain around her neck, but instead of the plain gold one he had, Star's had her name blinged out in diamonds.

Noah: I hope you liked it. It just came in the mail the other day and I've been waiting months for it.

Star looked at it in the mirror, she was speechless.

Star: Honey, thank you. How much was this?

Noah: I don't know. I spend, I don't look at prices.

Star smiled and admired the chain.

Simone: Ouuu!!! Nice bling, sis!

Alex: Ouuu!!! Girl look at you!!

Noah went to pack Isabella's diaper bag even though she wasn't there. He packed a matching outfit, so they can all match as a family.

Star: So, where's my baby girl?

Simone: Asleep. Are you guys picking her up now or are we meeting up at Gravity?

Star: I'll meet you there. I have something to take care of. By the way, where is Jordan and Scarlett staying?

Alex: Your old house.
